This is my first grow and I started flowering on December 27th so it's been 57 days/8 weeks since changing to 12/12. I read that you should wait until 40% of the white hairs turn dark and curled in. I don't have a magnifying glass and I'm color blind so I'm not sure that the magnifying glass method would be the best way for me. It might be hard to tell from the pictures because of the LED light. The strain is white widow x big buda.

Yea magnifying glass would be seat method for you even tho your color blind you'll be able to see the Amber trichomes as they will be darker in comparison to clear and milky which will be lighter "shade" for you. Don't go off your pistils as those are more or less a indicator that it's time to check your trichs G And like Lamont said do that in natural lighting easier for you to see G
