The company that I work for uses these lights from the company Campbell Lighting. It is a medium base that holds a 150w HPS bulb. This lighting fixture does not have a ballast on it so it plugs straight into any socket. My question is if I could get some good results using a couple of these fixtures? Also has anybody heard of this company or used this fixture?
You still need a ballast, but yeah, it would work once you get the ballast. I think you'd be better off investing in a cheap bat wing reflector than using that though.
I definitely do not need a ballast as I have already plugged them in to make sure they work. Why should I invest In a bat wing reflector when I can get these for free?
