I have a question about it and I cant get an exact answer through the research that ive done. I have regularly been using a gatorade bottle (I make a new one after like 5 or 6 uses). What I do is I take one of those cone doorstoppers for the bowl, then I take some scissors and light the tip with a lighter to push through the plastic bottle and twist a hole in it for the doorstopper to go. Can this be bad? None of the plastic melts but I'm wondering if after many uses all the smoke that goes through it can release some chemicals?
This will never be healthy, even if the plastic doesn't melt. Plastic naturally leaches it's chemicals in water, more rapidly when the plastic is hot. It's just not good for you. Invest in glass. It's healthier, lasts longer, looks better, and you won't regret it.
The door stopperis funny there bud.... But why not upgrade to a bowl( the rubber grommet style with long stem) I have done it I admit. But I don't think the chemicals could letch into the water if you use fresh water everytime. Or go air Bourne after the 5 or 6 uses. Also give those mini POM pomegranate bottles a go( they have it labeled to be bpha free plastic.) Stick the bowl intop of the lower buldge either use as a slide or make a carb hole. they make a mean little buddler
Homey has a point, you can get a real bowl for a dollar if that, why you chonging out of door stops it's crazy! You'll be reet though, smoking plastic bottle is no worse than the glass in your herb, back in the day i used to smoke bongs with dirty pond water in out the local park.
Might as well invest in a cheap china bong. You can pick some decent ones up for $15. Beats buying a $2 Gatorade every few days.
