It's starting to realy piss me off about the slagging Skunk is getting in the Media.Used as a generic term to describe super strong cannabis,and blamed for psychotic behaviour In one in four seasoned tokers,can anyone tell me what a.psychotic episode is ,and how come at least one in four of the people I know must (according to statistics)suffer blissfully unaware of their psychosis,I am of a certain age and my situation is one that means most of my toking peers are long standing proffesional people,one would think that their clients,patients,pupils etc would notice. Research also suggests that CBD is a.control to offset the psychotic potential of THC (isnt nature wonderful) so how come the no doubt numerous.team of overpayed researchers haven't turned their attentions to big hitting low CBD Sativas like Haze,the name probably doesn't evoke enough fear in your average Joe to suit the purposes of those still trying to maintain a spurious hundred year old prohibition on a substance we have lived in harmony with for ten thousand years.After this report my wife said I do suffer from phsychosis a bit,I refuted this explaining that one does not get phsychosis from the dog repeatedly eating ones socks it's just a sockless grumpy old mans bad mood and a damn good reason to have another joint of Skunk. I agree 100%. I'm also peeved at NORML UK for not getting the appropriate, erudite, persuasive people out front, in the news to not only actively respond when bogus science, like the latest King's College psychosis study (23% of 601 patients found to have used cannabis thus it MUST be the cause and we can now say that a "quarter of all psychosis cases in the UK are definitively linked to Skunk cannabis....Bullshit! )..WHERE is the response! Why are we supporting this Organization if they are going to sit on the bully pulpit and say nothing when this kind of propaganda is being spread as science?
