What are the laws in Canada regarding medical marijuana? If I go to a doctor and get a prescription for marijuana, how can I be able to grow it legally if that's possible too do?
I am not well informed on the current Canadian laws regarding medical marijuana(nor am I a patient). However as far as I know, no new patients are allowed to grow marijuana. All marijuana must be purchased through government approved growing facilities(can and will be delivered to your doorstep). However people who we approved before the april/2014 deadline were 'grandfathered in', meaning the can abid by the old laws that they originally abided to.
