  1. hello

    i am running 600w light

i have had a humidity problem recently because my exhaust stopped working and i couldnt afford to fix it right away

some of my plants have new leaves but curled up and looking hurt - the curled leaves are closer to the bottom of the plant medium-to low range

also leaves closer to the top of the plant have yellow spots on them

my ec is 1.6 and im in the 1st week of flower and have over vegged for 6 weeks (yes i know i had no other option)

pics attached any help would be greatly appreciated

  2. Minor Ca deficit on second pick, you hydro or soil?

  3.
Hydro, and my Ph is between 5.8-6.2 usually around 5.8

im using only canna products and will be introducing Canna Boost later today

also of note that the more significantly damaged looking leaves are towards the top of the plant so I initially assumed it was to do with the heat but I eradicated that problem by introducing a small fan over the top level of the plants but the problem still persists.

  4. Some folks advocate a swing in ph, I don't, I firmly believe keeping the ph as close to 5.8 as possible. Are you adding cal/mag?

  5.
I'm not adding anything at all, the ph hasnt really budged from 5.8 for the past 3 days and within them 3 days ive cut off quite a few leaves that looked damaged...and they keep popping up all over...

  6. You always need to use cal/mag in hydo or at least a complete fertilizer with Mg and Ca in the mix or you're experience issues as you now well know. As stated, it's a diminutive issue for you right now as long as you follow up with appropriate measures. Be advised, once spots express themselves they will remain throughout the life cycle, and the plant is probably adjusting in nutrient uptake, hence the falling leafs.

Check out this chart and notice the ph @ 6.2 in hydro.

  7. Thanks for the advice... I use Aqua Flores A + B and Canna Boost/Rhizotonic/Superthrive and I've never really had a problem until now....I have always been advised against using cal/mag unless it was such an issue as this is now...so I'll buy some today and get it in!
