Just wanting to know everyones thoughts before i possibly ruin a plant. If i was to chop off every bud as they begin to grow apart from the top bud would it grow a mega bud or not? I am under the impression that if it puts all it's energy into the one bud it should work Anyone tried this or know if it will work?
Im fairly new to growing so may be wrong but i think it would stress your plant out to much to grow much of anything
Definitely not what you want to do. In fact you should top your plant to create more tops and buds, which increases yield. There are a lot of pictures and videos on how to top on Google and YouTube.
That's not going to work. I've tried that long ago. What did work for me was cutting off all the branches and just leaving the main body. Made a big nug but I did yield a lot less. Definitely was not a mega bud.
Sounds to me you wan to do something i the line of lollipopping. That's the removal of lower growth before flowering to free up energy and focus it on creating a single cola plant. Works great in SOG setups. Just Google it. Loads of info on the topic Just don't cut any growth when flowering has started. Just going to lower your yields.
