  2. You'll be drinking bong water on a regular basis, most likely. I'd aim for something a bit bigger.

  3. Ok but say I were to need a small sized bubbler, should I just buy a bowl? Because I'm really not looking to get a bubbler larger than 5.5 inches maximum. I'm hoping there's some decent bubblers under that size

  4. Why would you need something that small exactly? I'm sure there are lots of large hiding places that you could use and buy a more adequate bubbler

  5. I'd like to bring it out with me and want a pocket sized one. If it's not worth getting a small sized one I'll just ditch the idea and stick to bowls even though the smoke is harsh.

  6. The penis looking bubblers that are that small or the pipe looking ones, if you just take a hit like a normal person and adjust for size you won't get water in your mouth.

  7. So I'll be fine if I get a small sized one? Will I still get cooled hits that aren't harsh like bowls hits?

  8. You'd be fine with a small bubbler. I used to own one of those cheapy mini gas station types that are absolutely everywhere. All it takes is some getting used to how much water to use and how hard to pull from it when you're smoking and you're golden

  9. They are normally not as harsh

The first few comments in here are baffling me because we've been blowing glass for over 15 years. Bought a lathe about 6 years ago for larger pieces.... and now/today that big bong market is dying coz everyone wants their water pieces 6" or shorter now. Personally..... I like smaller water pieces. And no..... not bong water in your mouth all day -- water levels are the key ;) You get much more flavor out of the smaller pieces, imo

  11. Depends where you are from, I have seen some studies saying that in North American the average is around 6 inches. make sure to use proper measuring technique, don't press the ruler into your abdomen either.

but I personally wouldn't get a 4 inch bubbler unless it had some kind of recycler or fancy splashguard so I don't get a mouthful all the time. taste is better with smaller pieces, definitely, but thats too small in my opinion get a dry pipe at that point. or drop like $200 on some super fancy little piece where you'll never get water in your mouth.

  12. would you want your penis to be 4 inches long?

If the mouthpeice is angled correctly (Hamms waterworks mini cube) there is no splashback on little 4" inchers. The smoothness comes into question next because this depends on the perc and the perc quality.

And then you need to take into account the % of plant material left in whatever it is you are burning. Flower is harsh in big tubes, Hash less so and oil is really what a 4" would be for. The purer the material the less harsh it is obviously.

  14. You can't really put a bubbler in your pocket cause you need water

  15. I was gonna mention this

  16. A 4 inch bubbler is actually one of the main pieces I use.

I don't usually smoke that much bud at one time, so the smaller bowl helps me budget my remaining stash quite well.

Hits are smooth, not too hard to clean, and can be stored virtually anywhere.

  17. I agree. We sell nationwide and internationally (out of San Diego, CA U.S.A.) And a majority of our customers ask for 6" sometimes shorter.... however, we do scientific work not like what OP is looking for but agreed with thewarden again that if you're going that small -- you want something like a recycler or simple diffused stemless/invested stem.... imo

Bubbs like that, imo, id say yes, you will get water in your mouth all day. :(
As far as legit/trustworth -- never heard of that website and the googled reviews I found differed -- I saw one not so good and one pretty good.

  18. Wow. I pointed this out in fewer words at the beginning of the thread and you responded how you were baffled by the response. Just, you know, throwing it out there.

Wow... some new kind of patrol police here.... didn't realize I spewed off about water in your mouth all day.... looks like one sentence about that in my schpeel. Just, you know, throwing it out there. Thanks for the patrol warning. I'll be sure not to say the same thing as you in the future. Thank you so much for pointing that out. It has changed my day  :hello:
