Plant #1 was started in its final container and is 34days old Plant #2 was transplanted and is 20 days old Regardless of the age NL 2 is significantly smaller at 20 days old then NL1 was at 20. Both are Northern Light autos. Although NL#1 is in FFOF and NL#2 is in FFHF. I dont know how much that played a part. Also NL#2 was stunted as a seedling because i started it in shitty organic soil, so i was transplanted twice. Once in FFHF and once into final container. This is just one experiment obviously would have to do this many times to get real results but for now im convinced the results are conclusive, do not transplant autos
how on earth can you say this experiment is conclusive? You can't be serious. It has more variables than two randomly picked unrelated grows
Conclusive in my eyes. The other variables didnt play any part in it really. Im not counting the days where the plant wasnt growing in the organic soil. Im counting from the day it was transplanted and came back to life. or else the 2nd plant would be same age. of course it would take more then 1 grow to be conclusive, maybe i should change the language.
Got to agree with gold. Way too many variables. 2 plants in 2 completely different soils, closes the transplant experiment right there. Who says the difference in the plants isn't from that. If that's not enough 1 of them being stunted and transplanted prior to being transplanted again, definitely puts an end to a fair experiment. They're not even the same age. Personally I don't think you should do anything to slow down autos, but that's not going to sway me from saying the experiment was very unfair. They would have to be grown in identical environment with identical soils. The only 1 difference being that 1 plant started in a smaller container, while the other was started in the final pot....nothing else could vary to make it a fair experiment
