So today i got some swag and some seeds i ordered. I only am getting one more batch of seeds and im good for QUITE some time. I cant thank http://www.cleanrootscorp.com/ for giving me the clean rooms bottoms and pots Also i got the seeds from Greenpoints flash sale. All in all im pretty stoked for my next grow after this bad ass one.
I cant be in the room with the Mars2 1200w for more than a few minutes without wearing some 99% UV protection safety glasses otherwise everything in other rooms has a shade of green to it for a while after I get out of the room. I lit a lighter in areas of the room to check air flow and direction and the flame was even green visually. I like them and will continue using them, my only issue is it seems the plants grow smaller, much tighter nodes as if they are not needing to stretch for the light. Then again I started seeds under the 1200.

idk so far loki man it seems like i have to go further than 2 feet to get a wide spread with this light . i may have to drill it straight to my roof lol how tall is your tent? and how tall are the girls?
15 ish inch does my 90x90 alright but inwill.also say the light also works well at a distance i kept it up at first and brought ot down but while it was at like 2-3ft away it was keeping really tight nodes. Fecking bright too. tent is 160cm tall and not messured them really from the tallest the lights maybe 9inches away and i can still raise the light a bit if needed. LMAO i wouldn't dare finger my leds ALSO i will be posting pics up tonight.... i cant believe how my dark devil already has purple leafs.... its first set of true leafs are purple BUT the strain is REALLY REALLY slow growing so i may end up with some issues if she doesn't kick up the pace to keep up with the rest of her friends
the strain kick in at around 14 days normally but you have purple pics already?? When I had the light (Mars2 1200) at about 18" the plants didnt grow in height for a week or 2 until I raised the light to about 48" then they started growing again. My 5 newer plants are kept at the outer edge of the light circle and they are a full week ahead or more of where the older ones were at that age. 2 of them are about twice the height. The newer girls will be bigger for sure. Took longer to see roots though. But the newer ones were started in plugs while the older girls were started in paper towel then sprouts placed directly to hydrotron. I did lower the light to about 36" over the flowering ones the other day and they are taking it well, Might drop another 6 to 12 inches soon
Ok so the really cool thing is the black cream... is already purple. BUT its SUPER slow growing. The hydro one is behind the soil one and i have another one thats still in the root riot fighting to survive. We'll see if the ones that are in the random root riots survive or not IF not im quite happy with what i have already. More updates to come!
