I've got a highly educated titanium domeless nail for my rig, but no carb cap. wanted to know whats a good household item i can use?
Anything glass or quality metal that can go over the top of the nail. Or you can just buy a highly educated carb cap
Just buy a carb cap. Using small glass or metal things is good but they don't have little holes in to help you draw and also they arnt designed for it, so get something that is Chef.
^quality metal means really only titanium as far as i know. and you need grade 2 medical quality as well but i wouldnt trust anything randomly metal. i use a little glass fridge magnet thing that is almost not really big enough but works, if i dont hold it by the magnet part i usually nearly get burnt on my nail. some broken bowls i have will work but not as well as the magnet, there are some other things ive used also like a flat piece of glass from an old bubbler that i made into a dabber/ pendant
Just buy a carb cap. End off. No hasle of nearly burning yourself or this magnet is better than this one. Or this broken piece of glass will go here then Piece goes here... Just buy a carb cap designed to fit your dome less then happy days: Chef.
Yeah if you spent the money on a nice nail you can certainly buy a proper carb cap can find them for 30 and less usually. I used this before I got a real he carb cap/tool. It was a basic stainless dabber (I know I know), stuck into the head of one of my older domeless nail heads. Worked OK for the time being. Before that I used the glass cap piece off of my grab labs reclaim adapter.

works best with low temperature dabs. bigger ones, not huge but not tiny either. just drop it in there after nail is cooled down a little bit and cap it. works amazing

I've seen the iPhone be used. It's aluminum on the back but may heat up the insides to much. My hands are to busy finging to cover it.
