Far Red

  1. Newbee here, can anyone tell me their thoughts (indoor grow) on hitting a far red (LED) about 5 minutes or so at the end of your light cycle for the day? Im developing a system that attempts the natural sun and was wondering about this technique. It is supposed to put the plant in its rest period much quicker than simply ending the light cycle. I guess its kinda like dessert!

    Thanks in advance guys...

  2. Sounds like you'll just be dimming one light source for another no?

Closest thing to the sun right now are those rocket plasmas and the gavita 02 unit from what I've read. But starting off with low light. Then going intense. Then low again doesn't sound like something that would benefit your plants. It might kill yield a little too. But that's just my guess.
