Playing in a band

I wish, there's zero people to jam with where I'm at. When I get back out to the East coast I wanna get something brewing. Drums must be a blast! Sadly my rhythm isn't up to standards so I'm no good making a beat, I love making melodies and chord progressions on my guitar though, especially stoned. It's almost like being high opens up a whole new perspective on the instrument your playing

 

I do but we're cursed with constant setbacks. Our previous rehearsal was three, four months ago and our drummer has an injury in his leg that prevents him from playing our music.

 

I played lead guitar in a metal band when I was younger only real show we played was at a church and from our genre I'm sure you can imagine how it went lol
We mostly did as blood runs black and August burns red covers an shit still wish I never stopped playing but my tastes changed and hanging out with bunch of whiny skinny jean wearing ma fukahs was enough for me to leave.

Not a bad decision to turn away from that scene. Btw how come the church didn't like you guys playing ABR, they're Christian!

The rest of the bands were like Christian acoustic lol then we come on with fucking double bass and breakdowns an shit they were slightly horrified in small town church in South Carolina lol
All the old people flooded outside as soon as they heard the hint of distortion when I was hooking my half stack up haha

I play guitar used to be in a band I wish I had some people to jam with now. The first time I ever smoked reefer was actually at my buddys house we were having band practice

Can't blame the old people though      

 

Played in a few when I was young, it's been 16 years though, but I was in a few garage bands in the 90's.  In high school I played bass in a punk band and a Nirvana cover band.  It wan't a Nirvana cover band by design, we just couldn't write anything good and the only songs we knew to jam on were Nirvana.  In college I played guitar in an alt-rock band.  None of these bands played anything resembling a serious gig, but we did play in front of some people.  Nowadays I just play with an Amplug.  

 

I dont have enough friends who play any instruments, they're mostly lazy stoners who won't learn lol. I have one friend in particular who plays a mean guitar but thats about it.. I play guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, and sing. I'd love nothing more than to be in a band with other people but mixing and mastering it all by myself is quite alright. Tons of work though

 

Bassist...aiat fiirst I have avoided to smoke when I play...because of rythm...that was when I was begginer. Now I play a lot high when I have some exopirience.. I call my guitarist we some couple of blunts and we play and create songs for our ban...Now on summer we are going to our friends huse near some river..two of us alone with all equipment and instruments and bag of green.. we are going there for  one week so we can work on opur second album. .

 

 
 
yeah...recently I hd promo concert of my band and new album... ; I got some white widow just for that ocasiion...soked one and get on stage... we are now planing to go on some smal tour...we will see what hapends next...Our music is mix of hardcore grunge with sensibility of funk and jazz...but lots of people have told us that we are groove metal band..;D
