I water with 5.5 phed water. The tray closer to the light same age looks fine but the tray a little farther from the light is growing black algae where the normal green algea would be growing
black growth is obviously not good you may be adding to much nutrient directly onto the cube , you should feed its underside not top. Also your nutrient container could be getting to warm causing unhealthy microbes to grow.
