Tried it recently with success but with the colder Temps my Temps are maybe 70 degrees in my veg room. A couple good tips I can give are putting coco in cups and rinsing with RO water before putting clones in cup. After rinsed poke a small hole in cup in center, about the size of a small screwdriver . Most importantly let the cup warm first before placing clone in because alittle temp change to the negative can change everything. After rinsing and poking my hole approximately 2-3 inches down I'll place the clone in and add RO to fill the hole you made in with screwdriver. Make sure the water is 75-80 degrees. Anything less might stunn and make your clones droop. This is my 3rd time cloning in coco and this is the best technique by far ever I've used for cloning. O and alittle rooting hormone helps best too almost forgot to mention that.
Ive found the biggest factor to be temp. Without my heating pad my tray runs at 70-72 and I have a 10% success rate. With my heater Im at 78 and my success rate goes up to 80-90%. If you are going directly into new brick coco you need to pretreat it for Mg also, but I recommend the rapid rooters they are ready to go out of the bag.
