Best Pen Vape on the Market for the money? I love my IMAG plus

  1.      To start off, I do not usually write reviews for products, but the IMAG Plus is definitely worth applauding. I also own a MFLB (Magic Flight Launch Box) and an EZ-Vape Digital, and have tried a couple others, but they haven't gotten much use since I got my IMAG. I've been using the IMAG+ 2-3 times a day for a couple months and it's still working like the day I got it! It's amazing how much flavor this little thing brings out! Because it actually bakes your herb in a little steel/ceramic chamber, it never touches a heating element, therefore, it will never burn or start combusting. This thing packs ALOT of punch for the price.
First things first, the box is well designed and all of the contents have a nice “high-end” feel. From the moment you first open the box, you can tell the company took time to think everything out and cares about their product. The actual unit itself has a solid feel and is easy to carry. The battery lasts much longer than my MFLB and is also a lot more consistent performance due to it keeping a controlled temperature. the entire time. The main complaints I have with my MFLB would be that charging the batteries constantly sucks, and the wall adapter is expensive to buy after the fact. Also, it's a lot easier to burn your herb if you aren't paying attention, and cleaning is also sorta difficult on wood and a fragile screen, however, all of these issues are mitigated with the IMAG+. The battery lasts a good 1-2 days worth of sessions (and can be used while charging, though I don't recommend it), and the temperature and the experience is exactly the same every time, regardless of how full the battery is! It takes about 30 seconds to a minute to heat up depending on which setting you're heating up to (blue, green, or red). I use mostly the blue for dry herbs and then green at the end of session to make sure all of the herb is used up. This thing WILL NOT burn your herb. You can turn the temperature up super high if you want and it will make your herb dark but it really does “bake” whatever is inside. You don't have any screens to replace and it uses a lot less herb each time than one of the bigger table-top vaporizers.
When you receive the vaporizer, you also receive a little packing tool, a little cleaning brush, and a pair of tweezers, all of which are insanely useful. You'll probably use the packing tool and cleaning brush every time you refill, and the tweezers come in handy especially if you're planning on doing waxes/oils (more on this later). You will need every one of the things they give you at some point in time so they give you a little baggie so they don't get lost. To keep the vaporizer working at its best every couple sessions I use a Qtip with a small amount (not soaked) of iso-alcohol to clean out the inside of the chamber and the mouth piece, which I would highly recommend doing to anyone who is purchasing this vaporizer.
You also receive a little magnetized cup to slide into the chamber for oils and waxes. I don't really usually do oils or waxes but thought i'd put it through its paces and try it out. The cup slides down into the chamber really easily and feels really well thought-out. My complaint would be that it doesn't really heat up high enough in my opinion to really make wax/oils work well. also you have to make sure you keep the unit vertical or the hot liquid inside will spill out and get on everything inside. I thought for sure I must have done it wrong but sure enough, I filled it to the correct level and everything. It was a mess to clean up, but as long as you don't plan on vaping oils on the go, it does work. Which leads me to my cons about the device.
For one, the vaporizer has a nice sleek round design that fits great into pockets and bags. Why is this a bad thing you ask? The mouthpiece doesn't screw on or click in very permanently, which is annoying when the mouthpiece pops off in a bag or pocket and spills. While I like how they attached the mouthpiece and think its an elegant design, it isn't so practical for such a transportable unit. Also, this comes into play with storing it. It is round and has a very small base. It is only a matter of time before it falls/tips over and rolls off of something. Maybe if they included a little stand or something, or even just made it an oval? I actually had such an issue when my mouthpiece looked like it had a little defect but didn't think anything of it until it rolled off of my end-table and onto the carpet, and the mouthpiece cracked. One of the other main reasons I'm writing this review is also because of how I was treated by the company when I messaged them. They were very quick to help and were able to quickly refer me to the seller (their retailer on ebay) who immediately sent me a replacement. I don't think I have dealt with a company in that past few years with better responsiveness and customer service. The company even followed up with me after it was all done to make sure I had gotten everything I needed from their seller and that I was enjoying the product. Seriously, while I have some minor problems with some aspects of the product, I could not be more happy with my purchase. This vaporizer is worth the money! If you are on the fence and trying to pick a good dry herb/leaf vaporizer, trust me, you should get the IMAG+. You won't be disappointed! I would compare this to the PAX by Ploom but for less than half the price. you really cant beat it and believe me, I've looked.
