Hello fellow tokers! I've been using this forum since forever but never actually signed up and contributed... but here goes. I've been an avid grower for many seasons, and this season I will be sharing with everyone my growing season from seed to smoke!

First things first. This year I will be using my special breed of "Ace of Spades" originally from TGA Subcool Seeds, this seed is from my impregnated mother plant I used to have that was especially healthy, clean, and robust.

    SEEDS (DAY 1)
Incredible Ace of Spades crossed with one of my favorite strains.

    JAN 26th, 2015 (DAY 3)
Seeds placed in paper towel, rolled up and placed inside an upside down cup to keep humidity.

    JAN 28th, 2015 (DAY 5)
Once seeds were sprouted with a root about 1.5inch long, they were then placed inside little seed cups with soil.

Weeded out some bad/slow growing seeds. Notice they are now starting to sprout heavily.

Some sprouts still have their shell attached to them, you can carefully remove the shell at this stage as it no longer provides any interaction with the plant.

When growing outdoors. Always check upcoming weather. Prepare to move your plants or cover them. Sprouts are sensitive to rainwater especially when they get flooded.

Grew at least an inch overnight.

    thanks :)

  4. Im subbing. Looks good already. I hope they get HUGE!

  5. Notice you don't have any perlite, are you adding it in later? Because the sproutings I have are doing just fine without it as well.

Rainy bay area. So moved the sprouts indoors and put on some lights for the moment. At this point I may consider just growing these indoor. We'll see. A little bit of stretching, going to reroot them more into the soil and turn up the fan so the stems get thicker. Also doubled the light fixture.

I never use perlite for sproutings.. and may consider not using it for this batch just because I have found success in using 100% soil based with plant food.

  9. You might find your success goes up with additional aeration and drainage.. (perlite) I always have HUGE plants when adding pebbles to my soil, and big plants when using regular soil (usually already has some perlite in it ayk) but yah perlite + hydroton clay pellets, made a huge diff in my indoor and outdoor, everytime.  If you're planning on (tight soil) just for the seedlings, i would agree with you there that you're good to go just feed and water. but after rooting for 7 days... i would be tapping my foot on the ground with nervousness for missing out on such an important part of early High Rate of growth.. and future high rate growth, from the lack of oxygen. :bongin:  :hippie:

  14. Those look great! I am actually considering getting into cultivation myself but still need to do some extensive research. Am I able to pickup the same seeds or clones locally at a dispensary in the bay area (south bay)?
