I have one, it more than definitely gets the job done and you don't have to worry about dropping or breaking it. One downside is that it'll start to smell pretty bad. Glass is obviously a lot nicer though.
I say unless you can get them for less than $10 they are useless. Once they get dirty it's hard to get them clean cause cannabinoids seem to permanently bond to the acrylic plastic these are made of and they will start to smell. Even if you have to get a cheap bong like a regular glass drilled-vase style one with a slide and grommet, that's still better than a plastic bong. The grommet and slide assembly is cheap to buy so you can always repair it and even buy different attachments just like the GonG bongs. The main difference is that glass can be cleaned.

Acryllic is pourous and holds bacteria. Its a terrible material for anything you plan on touching to your skin. Simply avoid it. Its a temp fix don't let it become anything more than that. Plua your heating plastic every time you hit it. I wouldn't want to inhale Asian acrylic fumes lmao

I'd just save up for some glass. Acrylic bongs aren't expensive but they aren't necessarily cheap either compared to a bong you can make yourself out of a soda bottle. I don't really see a use for them unless you need something cheap as soon as possible and can't make your own. What I'm saying is save up for some glass. Any cheap glass will be better than the acrylic.
Actually, the Transformer Tube is made out of Lexan which is a bulletproof material but I'm not going to argue with everybody all day long my bong isn't a cheap acrylic piece of crap I spent $140 on it at One of only three local distributors in the whole state who were in stock of TT because it's made out of (ballistic grade Lexan) and it only comes with a (Glass Stem On Glass Bowl No Metals) but I've shown you enough links to show you it's not some cheap bullshit bong but this is a free country so if you want to hate then go ahead and hate i'm going to keep puffin on my tree through my bong and keep it moving 💨💨
I would personaly not get one for the sole reason of metal bowls and the uncleanliness of acrylic vs glass. The acrylic will start to smell and be pretty gross rather quick, and the metal bowl does not tase as good as a glass one. Also you can get glass bongs (albeit a little more of a retre style) for the same price as a decent sized acrylic
