Kief Butter

    I'm trying to find a good recipe to make a small amount of butter with kief. I have 1 gram of kief. How much butter should I use? Can I just add it to butter on a low temp? How long should it be cooked?

    You should use the amount of oil the recipe calls for. It is the 1g of kief that will determine the potency, not the amount of oil.

    I like the oil-making instructions in the BadKat sticky thread. I'd read those instructions if you haven't already done so.

    If you don't have a recipe then look harder, starting with the 'sticky' threads at the top of the forum.

    My suggestion in your case is to make tea with virgin oil, see what is a good amount, then multiply that amount by the number of doses you hope to get from that gram. That is the answer to 'how much oil.'

    Part of the conflict is I'm not sure how much kief is a serving. I was hoping to do 4 tbsp of butter and 1 G of kief for 4 servings.

    A good serving suggestion for beginners is to eat the amount you would normally smoke or vape.
