Dropped my glass pipe this morning... sad day indeed... so I decided to try my "backup" little metal pipe. I've never used it before until today and for some reason it gave me a much different high. Not the usual pressure behind eyes etc etc but instead it was much more of a mellow body high. I'm fairly new to smoking so I'm just curious as to why they were so different. Any thought's? Cheers!
Either different weed or it could be that your glass pipe was needing a clean and the metal one was spotless? Just guessing really.
same weed and unused metal pipe. Interesting point about cleaning the glass pipe... didn't consider that (I do clean quite regularly though). I'll have to buy another glass pipe and do a comparison to see if it was a one time thing or not.
Could also be that not being used to the different draw you inhaled more at once and felt a stronger effect than you were expecting.
I love metal chamber pipes, but have opted for my glass spoon type lately. You may be getting a better hit from the metal, which is probably wider. I only smoke very, very tiny amounts these days, so it doesn't matter which I use.
