so I'm visiting a friend in the next few days and we are planning on getting a hotel. I bought him a rig for his birthday and wanted to know if you guys think i should take the precautions of hotel smoking: bathroom, towel, shower, etc etc. It will be a smoking room and we both smoke cigarettes. Think Ill be fine to just hit a few dabs on the couch and put away the rig?? and sorry if this should be in the toking section, I figured this was appropriate since this is the concentrate section.
you should be alright.. pick up a small can of Ozium (original scent) from walmart on your way. That shit is the real deal.
i know dabs are a lot better smelling and disperse a lot quicker so i shouldn't have to do the whole bathroom bs?
I've never once had a problem with smell lasting in a room after dabbing. Like I say, with quality oil - no telling with goop soup. It's the only way I'll medicate inside a hotel room for exactly that reason. So no, it's no lie, at least in my experience.
I'm just saying, vapor won't stick to anything like smoke would. A little air moving around and it'll dissipate pretty quick. ^Didn't mean to imply you have bad oil, sorry it sounded that way. I've just had shitty oil that smelled weird in the room after dabbing it, probably particulates in it burning on the nail or something. A proper oil dabs up nice and clean was my only point.
It's a good point too. I've dabbed some of my third run before that i only lightly filter because it goes to edibles. It tasted like ass and smelled like it too. It was bad. Like really bad. It was terrible. I let my third runs soak because i never usually dab it. I wanted to know what it tasted like and i regret it. I almost puked. It ruined the nail too. Everything tasted like it after. And it left a nasty residue... I don't know what i expected from blackish green oil though... And the nail just kept smoking, it didn't even vape right. But smell from good oil is gone after 20 minutes guaranteed, no matter how terpey. I dab indoors in places i never would have dared to smoke. It's just how vapor works. It sticks to things and sort of breaks down in the air as it condenses on things. Smoke just sits until it dissipates and gets flushed out with fresh air.
