America has some retarded system, don't get me wrong so does united kingdom, but what the fuck why do you have to be forced to repeat few words "I'm a citizen" at border checkpoints  I can lie for all I care you gonna be suspicious based on my accent? LOOOL what happened to you freedom and rights Americans and democracy?, Democracy is a lie, it's like a myth it doesn't exist it's nonexistent to shut us people up around the world and keep us under control, then you brag about your freedom of speech and freedom and complain about other countries not having them, just to let you know dog freely barks also but doesn't mean people listen to them or respond to them lol

Now about my retarded country, police has the right to break down your door or even forced themselves in (liked it happened to me before) if they have "reasonable suspicion" that I'm obstructing an officer or a law is being broken at that time such as "smelling weed" or someones life in danger. This gives them the power to lie and gain free access to search your home.
Last year police broke into my house because it took me around 5 minutes to answer the door due to being heavy sleeper eventually heard them banging, went and answered they were looking for a person that previously lived in my property before I moved in, I had no contact no relation nor even seen or knew that person. showed them ID proof of address they were giving me bad attitude and when I went to get ID I put the chain on the door natural reaction I do it to who ever shows up if I go away from the door for a sec to fetch something. They said I was hiding the fellow person in my property pushed me 2 of them with their heavy armored clothing and came in.
Another thing there's a law in UK a police can do whatever they want physically to a person as long as "they can justify it"

  5. I have nothing to do with them, and dont present myself in situations where i have to speak to them.
Some folk just thrive on controversy and conflict.

Seems there always some bloody protest about something or other. Yes some are warranted, but as i said tgere groups who's whole life is to cause unrest.

  7. Well lets agree there's stupid people everywhere. There's always pockets of civilization. Just remember Colorado legalized weed. Although it was US pressure that got the UN and most other UN signatories to ban weed themselves, so our bad. But we are leading the way for reform too so that's a step in the right direction.

America is a lot more diverse than Britain is so you'll have your overall idiots which for us is the American South. I guess for UK folks those could be like the Scots. We've got our rednecks and you've got chavs. So let's call it even, apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

And if you complain about your police read about the US headlines. Your police don't out and out murder your children and even worse get away with it.

Over here if you're driving a nice car or carrying lots of cash on you the police can out and out seize it never charge you for a crime and it would cost you more than what they took to get it back, meaning they can take your house if they so much as suspect someone was dealing from it.

You're an idiot too. Because if you weren't then you'd notice that not all of us on the south are idiots. It's just a stereotype.

  10. Police hype <_<

  11. To be fair the politicians down here are pretty big idiots and if they keep making cuts to education funding than the stereotypes are going to start to become a reality again. As for the stereotype itself, it comes from the reconstruction period following the Civil War where the southern economy was turned upside down and people were plunged into poverty practically overnight. As time passed the education system went to complete shit and the common southerner was left uneducated (and probably racist).

On a side note, I'll find out some truth about some of the stereotyping today because I am going to Alabama in a couple hours to play a show. Not that living in NC hasn't conformed (and disproved) some of the stereotypes, but Alabama is home to most of these so I am excited to see the real Alabama. I'll be in Huntsville though which is home to a NASA instillation so something tells me that it won't be a good place to go idiot hunting haha.

  13. I'm guessing you've never had "the talk". Shit's not hype if you're a person of color, you see things differently immigrating to the US and growing up in the real Long Beach ghetto during the rise of gangsta rap if you think Snoop Dog is just some old rapper backing for Katy Perry, you've never been around when his posse starts a shootout.

  14. Why is America so retarded? I have a few ideas:

-Polarizing politics without legitimate debate; just mud-slinging, name-calling, and finger-pointing.
-Religious zealots who wear their righteousness on their sleeves while practicing philosophies that are flat-out bigoted and judgemental against anyone who doesn't agree with their views.
-Political correctness taken to an extreme without any logical thinking involved. (Good intentions gone wrong)
-Too many frivolous lawsuits as a result of having too many lawyers seeking the "compensation you deserve".
-Too may drivers who are clueless about maneuvering a multi-thousand pound machine safely down the road.
-An overbearing infatuation with all of our electronic devices, especially while driving. (Don't need to be a slave to your phone; it's a tool, not a lifestyle, no matter what Apple or whoever tries to make you believe)

I could keep going, but I think you get the point...And in fairness, these are all probably true to some degree no matter what country you're in.

  15. Snoop Dog is old?

Snoop's not old but if you don't remember his original rise to popularity was as gangsta as it comes. Talking X-rated videos, popularizing Hustler porn during Larry Flynt's big run in with the Supreme Court, weed, people don't realize but C-Walk is short for Crip Walk and that Snoop used to rolls with the Crips. It always brings a laugh when I bust out some of my old C-Walkin' moves with my friends. I remember when you'd risk getting shot if you flashed the wrong sign while trying to C-Walk on down the sidewalk cause you'd spell out signs to guys for various gang related activities, that way they knew you were legit. And I remember back in the day getting sent home from schools with notes that increased gang activity nearby meant no students would be allowed to walk home. That's how I know what it's like to live in those alienated ghettos. I was brought in from the Philippines by my father at 3 yrs. old. He technically was an illegal immigrant who just overstayed his visa, they didn't deport you then. In fact he had a real job as a mechanic. Raised me in the mixed black and hispanic ghetto's so lots of neighborhood strife. But having lived through that when we could finally afford to move out, let me tell you now that I climbed out of that ghetto, white people will NEVER understand what it's like and what real discrimination looks and feels like from my perspective.

Because now as an engineer who looks Asian I know how easy it is to fit in a good stereotype and it is SWEET compared to what I know I saw happen and still happening to the blacks and hispanics when I was growing up.

But just saying guy's got history beyond just changing his name to Lion. And growing up smack dab where Snoop was and even going to VIP records regularly, I can't deny there is a shit ton of priviledge to now be a good stereotype. METRIC FUCKIN SHIT TONS.

  17. I wish I lived in America. I hate the people and the government of my country.

  18. The government is dumbing down the citizens. We get stupider every generation to help follow their regime

Actually the people I see who only know Snoop Dogg from his celebrity or his recent guest collaborations are the exact opposite of old white men. They're young millenials who have no idea about his past. And I can completely understand why. Snoop Dogg even changed his name to Snoop Lion to escape a past he'd more than love to forget. But grow up like that, and you most certainly don't forget, but you don't want to keep being dragged down by your past either.

If you ever met him in real life, he really is the chill dude likely from all the weed he smoked. But the gangsta never left him. It's why out of all the hip hop moguls even when he duetted with Katy Perry he still sold out less than other party rappers like Lil Wayne.

He's sorta carved his own music production corner like Lil Jon. He guest spots but provides beats and mixes that help make his collaborations stand out. And it's sorta this businessman aspect that he applies to his work that keeps him from being labled sellout even with collaborating with pop stars like Katy Perry. In fact I would love to see him feature on a Taylor Swift song. Would be interesting to see the direction it takes.

But that's the thing it's always a struggle for people in minority communities to find success but find ways to give back to the community. Because of the embedded racism in this country, that's a fine line to walk to be a success, be accepted by the mainstream*, and still have cred to not be labled a sellout by your original community. Asterisk is there because the mainstream only accepts you as long as you got money, just ask Hammer.
