Who Makes A Quality Compass?

    Im wanting to get a nice compass but i know nothing about them. Anyone have any advice on a brand or style/features to consider?

    Brunton - $400, they are all fairly similar, get one that can measure azimuth
     
    woops, i guess sicne you are in artists corner you mean an artists compass... they are all pretty similar still. Get a metal one and you are good to go.

    I was going to recommend a mil-spec compass then realized what form this was in.
