Bong Making

Discussion in 'Bongs, Dab Rigs, Bubblers, Water Pipes' started by billybongo, Jan 30, 2015.

  1. Im looking at having my own bongs made, if there are any glass blowers on here or anyone who's had a bong custom made by a glass blower maybe you could help.
how much would it cost for me to pay a glass blower to make a bong i have designed?
how long does it take to blow a bong from start to finish?
If anyone can help me out id really appreciate it

    BB

    1. The price 100% depends on the glass blower and how intricate the piece is. Can range anywhere from $50 to $200000

    2. Once again. Depends on artist and difficulty of piece. But normally less than a month is pretty normal

  3. Message me man. I'm having a bong custom made, designed after a sov stem 8. with ice pinces and a worked slide its costing me like 320

  4. I really want to find out if there are reasonable glass blowers in San Diego that aren't backed up for months.

I always wanted to commission a piece just for me. The design is just a clear-red apple bubbler design with a clear green leaf and you load weed into the indent at the top like an apple pipe. And you smoke out of a an opaque green worm coming out of the side.

Shouldn't be too hard but trying to find an artist to blow it is freaking crazy. And I'm even willing to shell out $500 to do it. No takers at least not ones that can deliver in less than 3 months time.

  5. Hit up glass distractions or Olympic glass, both work out of ocean beach, and make amazing pieces for reasonable prices. Love our local sd glass blowers!

  6. Thanks. I know SD is known as a top glass blowing area but the fact that it's known for glass tends to make good blowers here in crazy high demand. Because I am willing to pay top dollar for my rather simple design, but I want quality too, no lazy blows filled with bubbles and inclusions.

    I'll check them out.

  7. Yeah Olympic is our high end blowers here, glass distractions are small time producers but put out amazing work. If your commissioning a high end piece, Olympic are the guys for you.
