This is essentially my first grow, so if anyone has tips they can throw my way that would be awesome!
I'm not looking for a huge yield, this is just for personal experimentation and a little fun at the end of it ;)
\nThe grow box i am using is a small cardboard box; Width: 6.5 inches, Length: 9.5 inches, Height: 12 inches
    \nSeeds i am using are AK48 bagseed.
    \nLights: 1x 125w 5500k CFL
\nLight Schedule: 12/12 so that i can enter into flowering ASAP
\nSoil: Soil i found in my backyard, although when its older i'll transplant it into a slightly bigger container with Organic nutrient soil.
    \nVentilation: 1x 120mm PC fan
\nIt popped up from the soil last night :)
(BTW: Address on box is not where i live, just where the box came from)

  2. Maybe get some mylar or paint the inside flat white to help with reflectivity. I too have a small area..this is my starting chamber they chill in here for 2 weeks then to my larger box. It's my first really grow inside I'll sub in on your grow.

  3. Don't really have anything reflective besides aluminium foil, which i've heard is bad to use due to heat spots :/

  4. Yeah I got it in my small chamber as you can see but my box is flat white could ya go and get a can at the dollar store maybe your box is small

  5. Yea i thought about maybe using a can as a reflector but as the can is made of aluminium i don't see how it would prevent burn spots anymore more than the foil.

  6. My bad I meant a can of flat white paint and spray the inside of your box but make sure it's flat not gloss.

  7. Ahh yeah, i see what you're saying. Maybe.

  8. This may help too I found is digging around the forums

  9. I'm going to go no nutrients unless it's in the soil for this first grow. I want to see how natural i can get it. Of course if the plant starts having deficiencies i will attend to it, but for now, not nutes.

  10. Cool I'm interested to see how it goes keep me posted I'll do the same if you'd like

  11. Good luck man. This is as bare bones as a grow as I've ever seen. Not enough space, light etc at all. You seem to have put almost nothing into this grow so don't be surprised if you get almost nothing out of it. Just my honest opinion...

  12. I've got a bigger grow space if it need it, which it probably will. This is currently the stealthiest way i can do it. As for lighting, one cfl for one plant should be fine (not 100% sure) for basic growth and flowering.

  13. Flat white paint is a good idea, but don't do it while your plant is growing or going right back into the box haha. A 125 watt cfl should do fine for a small, single plant grow. I'm interested to see how it turns out :) I do imagine you having to use a bigger box by flowering though.

  14. Yeah, i have a box about 40% taller which i'll use for flowering stage. Do you think reflectors are a necessity? I mean, for flowering i can see the benefits, but for keeping it small during the vegetation phase i don't think it would help.

  15. I think added reflective surfaces would only benefit you. Not adding it in your grow wouldn't make a world of difference though, being your first grow and a smaller one.

  16. Alright, i'll definitely invest in reflectors for my next grow. Thanks for the feedback!

  17. This is gloriously ghetto, love it! :)

  18. Thanks :), update coming tomorrow.

    1 week from sprouting.
    Updates:
Grow box - Opened up fan access more, added a small bottle of apple juice (20g sugar p/serve) and added 1 or 2 grams of yeast for increased carbon dioxide production.
Plants - Germinated another seed and sprouted it (placed in new organic soil i have, i will add more soil once it gets taller so as to increase roots while keeping it short)

    ANY FEEDBACK IS HELPFUL!

  20. Should i be worried about the size of the bigger on for only 1 week?
It does get quite hot in there, so i'm not sure if that is affecting it's leaf growth (height is fine)
