Hey so I was looking for a bit of advice before I spend my budget on garbage. Im planning a small grow (5 plants tops ) and intend to buy 2 of these dual spectrum bulbs. Around £30 each from ebay and It says they have 6400k + 2400k and are ideal for vegging and flowering ? I know the best bet is HPS but I dont have the funds and I heard they cost alot to run. Anybody have experiance growing with these bulbs ? , Also the seeds Im buying says average yeild of 300-500g per plant but that sounds a little too good to be true on a low cost set up but I would be hoping for at least 1oz per plant
Need a link for the bulbs to see if they're any good. The 300 - 500g is under ideal conditions under a 1000w HID. CFLs, if these are any good, won't yield near that amount.

the seeds are skunk#1 normal feminised , at least 4 plants will be growing under these 2 lights if they are what they claim to be.
Being as how they are not directional you will need to fabricate a hood Also BEST to have separate control of the 6500 and 2700 Ideally cannabis wants some reds mixed with the whites during veg, then once flipped, a ~ 40% red bump Now wattage is not the be-all-end-all, Intensity is the reason for dense nuggz I would bet a 100w Amare Technologies Solar Spec LED will crush these ($295 US) Should be quite the bargain for UK Add more as money is available
