Question on vaporizers

Discussion in 'Vaporizers' started by 420mayhem, Jan 29, 2015.

  1. I've got a smokers cough from smoking weed... if I bought a vaporizer would that be benificial to me in reducing or healing my cough?

  2. You might still cough a bit using a vaporizer...but the toxins associated with smoking are largely eliminated by vaping. So yeah, it should help relieve your cough :)

  3. That's what I was thinking... Wasn't sure and didn't want to go wasting money... Thanks for confirming it... any ideas on a decent vape?

  4. Totally depends buddy. What's your budget? Do you need a portable or a desktop for home use?

  5. I gave up smoking completely about 9 months ago. I switched to vaping (e cigs and weed vapes) my lungs are so much better now.  Give it a go and find out :)

  6. Yeah I smoke alot and have asthma on top of it all.... i really need relief from coughing and congestion... I'm not looking to spend a ton... 200$... and I'd prefer a personal vape I can carry around... i seen one that's shaped like a ventolin puffer... that one any good... I'll look for a pic....

  8. yes it helps but it won't be overnight it takes a few weeks IME to really notice a difference.

I really like my Arizer Air. you can get it for under $200 and it's good for travel and home use.

I have asthma too but haven't had an attack for months.   Don't get out of breath anywhere near as quickly now.
As for the puffit. tbh, I haven't seen many good reviews of it, it's not one that appeals to me.  There are quite a few good quality vapes for less than $200.  Checkout the MFLB, VaporGenie, Lotus, Hammer, Solo..etc..  for just a sample of what's available.  One thing though avoid the 'pen' style vapes for weed. They all, bar one the Tvape, will just burn your weed.  Also avoid Grenco and Atmos, they just sell crap.

  10.
That's great advice that most people don't get before they make a mistake!

For the first two weeks or so you will cough as your system gets all the black shit out of your lungs.  Afterwards, I still cough in the mornings while my system gets cleared out, but it's not as much and only yellow.  I cough less when I use a good water filtration piece like a bubbler or double perc tube.

As to which vape, stay away from the puffit...it will disappoint you.  Go for a Solo, Air or Lotus.  I suggest the Lotus as it will mimic the ritual of smoking a pipe and is the biggest hitter of the three.  You're gonna want big hits to satisfy your smoker ways.  Wispy hits will just send you back to burning.

  11. What he said ^^

The Air is an updated, more compact version of the Solo and has had very good feedback so far. I haven't used the Lotus, but I've heard nothing but good things about it. And it falls within your budget.

  12. If you want one that you can carry around in a pocket the solo wont do it has a glass stem with the bowl on bottom of it. Makes it near impossible to carry in a pocket especially if you want to carry it with a loaded bowl. The MFLB is a good one you may want more battery life however and thermostat to prevent combustion from user error. For around a hundred us I would spring for the flowermate v5.0s. It should fulfill your every need. However I recommend you do some research of your own and see what options you really need. That version of flowermate has all options on it. Not the best in all departments but it has all options with best-in-class battery life for a portable 2 hours plus. Comes with some high in features also many others don't like glass vape path way and ceramic heating chamber. Has a built in thermostat to prevent combustion and maintain set temp. Has a chamber light to load in dark. you can load the bowl and take it on the go with no worries of it spilling out. Has on board storage compartment for glass mouthpiece. Has three temperature settings not as many as the solo but their adequate. Fits in any pocket. if that sounds like its up your alley check it out just make sure you're looking at the 5. OS not the 5.0 as it has no temperature settings and silicon mouthpiece.

  13. You may want to try vaporizing wax or essential oils.
that may help. if you have any health issues you may need to consider not vaping or smoking for a while because your health is more important than anything else.

I use the vape zoo vaporizer the Z4 , it gets wax, oils, herbs extremely hot to the vaping point.
be careful because some vaporizers only burn the material which is just smoking.

    good luck
I hope your caught goes away :)

  14. The Puffit original sucks but the new version Puffit 2 is pretty awesome. You might check it out and it is available around $100.00.
