Best Concentrate Vape for 50-120?

  1. Looking for a vape for concentrates. Not looking for anything too fancy.. mainly looking for function and reliability. A piece that will last for a long time.

So, blades, what are your suggestions.

Never vape..always smoke..am a glass guy so forgive my ignorance of the almighty vape

  2. When using concentrates, the best way to vape them is using a rig and taking dabs, definitely the most efficient use of concentrates and gets you super ripped (not to mention tastes amazing).

If you need something discreet and on the go, you can look into a vape pen for concentrates as well (depending on if you use wax or oil more that may help you decide on which pen)..I can only get wax sometimes around here, but I have a slight mod setup of using a vape ape stealth (or bulb if not being discreet) attachment on a Vision Spinner variable voltage battery that gives me some good hits on the go.

  3. No doubt. But I already have a dab rig.

I'm looking for a vape pen but I want to know if there's a particular brand that I should look into.

  4. Gotcha,

I just did a bunch of research on pens since I like how convenient/discreet they can be for when I am out at a concert or something...Most brands had their pros and cons

I had the Cloud pen first, decent intro pen, but similar to the g pen and the atomizers burn out pretty quick, not to mention the damn mouth piece comes off so easily in your pocket and if it is warm from hitting it recently you could lose some material in your pocket...

After talking to the guy at my LHS and looking at the different ones he had to offer, I decided to go with a slight mod setup..Bought my battery (Variable Voltage Vision Spinner) and got two mouthpieces, one globe, and the vape ape stealth attachment...It is nice having the variable voltage because you can keep it low for decent hits or crank it up for big rips.

  5. Looked online. I liked the low price. Do you see it lasting? How are the concentrate hits in terms of potency?

  6. I see it lasting a while, the battery itself seems similar to most other pen batteries I have seen, the charge has been lasting a while and have had no issues yet...I am sure the coils will go bad eventually, but again that happens with any pen.

As far as potency, I definitely still can't get as ripped as if I am taking dabs, but if you crank the voltage up on the battery you can get some pretty big hits that leave you feeling pretty stoned after a few.

  7. If you don't want to custom build your own pen, the Zeus Thunder pen works really well. Comes with 3 styles of carts including one for weed(haven't tried it yet). Has a relatively small(650mah) battery but it last surprisingly long. The kit also comes with a dabber and nice glass concentrate jar all for $99

  8. custom build?

  9. Basically what I was talking about in my post..Buy a battery, then buy a compatible mouthpiece/atomizer to complete the pen, don't need to just buy a pre assembled pen, you usually will pay a bit more that way.

  10. not true. Maybe that's the best way for you but not for many others including myself. And you,say it's the most efficient ?it's actually the least efficient way because dabbing is conduction and convection uses a lot less concentrate for the same effect. And the taste is also much better with convection as this is a rule for all vapes.

  11. I am willing to bet 99% of people on this forum would agree that the taste of concentrates is much better when dabbing then when using a pen...

Also, I am 100% sure that if I am strictly dabbing vs using a pen, I will be far more stoned off dabbing and my wax will last me way longer then if I am packing it into a pen.

  12. There are more ways to vape oil besides dabbing and pens..
I agree the effects are stronger when dabbing as opposed to pens.

  13. pens are the way to go my friend ----

i dont wanna jump into companies right yet .. not sure if allowed on here --

    but

I do highly recommend grabbing about a 30 watt variable voltage battery -- with a 510 or 601 thread          --      as long as you can go up to 7.4v IMO 9v is a bonus!

then you can use all types of cartridges and atomizers from the 3.4 lil ones - , 3.7- 4.7 basic , 6 volt double and 7.4v special carts !

please for taste reasons make sure you do not use silica wick -- if you must use a wick in your atomizer make sure its ceramic - huge huge difference

as well as using titanium 2 wire coil as heating element on most for health and taste ---         and a few nice ceramic elements are nice but in the higher voltage area --

after u set on that -- pretty easy --

u can incorporate it all into all your glass with simple adapter :)

    peace brother
