  1. Today i just bought a plant! shes about 2 and a half months along now, one of my buddies was taking care of her for the time but is moving so i just got it free. Im growing outdoors because in my situation indoors is very highkey. I have a fee questions i want to ask because i consider my self a complete noobie to growing. i did go out and buy some soil which ive been reading is well liked and mainly well for a begginner to start off with ( Kelloggs patio plus ) now my situation is only going down to a home depot or other big stores because ordering online is a hassle for me. so i have a few questions to ask about things I plan on needing considering im gonna go buy 3 more clones. i will also provide links to the products i am considering purchasing except the soil which ive bought but any suggestions on a different kind will be great!

    1. Now i went out and bought Kelloggs patio plus because ive read its some pretty good soil for beginners. It does come with some great nutrients added in and i believe the pH is 6.8. Wondering though what type of fertilizer i should use with it and when i should stat actually using the fertilizer.

    2. I have been also reading about this fertilizer called Osmocote. You put it on your plants one time and it feeds it for 3 months. It had a slow release coating on it that only feeds you plants when it rains or you water them. wondering though if i could use it with the kelloggs patio soil? if i cant what is a good option of fertilizer for the soil im using? keep in mind also im not ordering anything only i will be shopping at The Home Depot, Walmart, or Lowes.

1- the soil is good, but you have to mix it with a bag of perlite so you get good drainage. use 60% Kellogs and 40% vermiculite from HD. Or roughly 50/50.

2- go to a nursery and find a good fertilizer. You need two fertilizers, one for "Veg" and one for "Bloom". That fertilizer you mentioned is not a safe bet. Research what NPK is and once you understand what NPK is you can find a good fertilizer locally.

Lift up the pot to see if they need watering. If heavy, don't water. If light, time to water. Make sure to ph test your water/fertilizer solution before you water. Let your water/fertilizer steep for 24 hours and then ph test it. Your plants will love you!
