Question about the first edible I made

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by the1whoknocks9, Jan 29, 2015.

  1. I made edibles last summer for the first time. Followed a guide for making the oil and everything. I used 9gs of bud, about 4gs of stems, and 8gs of vaped bud (I read that some people use it and some people don't, so I figured I'd try everything)

There were 12 brownies in total. There was a mix of people who tried them, "seasoned stoners" and beginners, but the brownies knocked everyone out. It wasn't pretty. How much bud should I use this next time to keep this from occurring? I'm sure we're light weights, so I want to make them so we can actually enjoy

  2. .5 per brownie of just bud, so... yeah. You can make eighteen brownies with just nine grams of bud alone. Add stems and vaped weed to the amount that you provided, I wouldn't be surprised if you could make around 25-30 brownies, maybe.

  3. When I am making brownies for a mixed group of people with varying tolerance, I use no more than 4g per tray of 16 brownies. (0.25g per dose) People with high tolerance can eat more than one brownie and/or smoke a little to put themselves over the top. For a real lightweight, even 0.25g might be too strong. Making edibles for a mixed group of people is a challenge!

  4. Thanks for the advice, I definitely put way too much so this next time I will put 6gs and cut the brownies in half so there's 24, then people can eat one or two
