Just received my P450 from PLED. I am working on my 3rd week of flower currently and will be installing this next to a 1000w HPS. I have an odd setup currently, limited on space. 2'x5' and the width on the 1000w just is not enough. I was going to upgrade to 2x600w but decided to give the LED a shot. If it works well, I will be purchasing another and run 2 of them. I should be able to gauge how well it does (although not perfect) running it next to a 1k HPS. I really hope I made the right decision and if I didnt, well, 90 day MBG. My last grow was RP OG #18 and it yielded me 19 3/4 oz dry. I am working on Critical Kush currently. ** Got it all hooked up. Based on looks, the 1000w looks much better for the plants. I know its a lot more watts, but this P450 is supposed to compete with a 600w. I know looks can be deceiving so we will see how the plants like the LED. They are INCREDIBLY bright though so Im sure what looks to be the case is probably not.
You could experiment with putting the LED vertically, so all parts of your plants are getting great light. Then rotate your plants manually daily so they get to feel the side LED lighting. Just a thought. GL friend!
