PH meter advice

  1. Im having a few problems with a young plant. I can't believe I'm about to get a PH meter especially since I'm using the ITG organic soil mix that cooked for 3 weeks. I thought PH took care of itself in good organic soil!

That being said what brands/types of low cost PH meters should I check out? This is for soil not hydro

  2. What's your problem?  I haven't seen you post about it...

Why don't you come back to the organics forum and get the problem figured out?

Having a pH meter is not going to fix your problem.  It will only aggravate it because you don't understand living soil systems...

If you're sure your soil is optimal, no need for a meter. If you'll going to jump from one medium to another, you'd do good to get a meter, then when you get it all "down pat" you can then toss the meter. Do as wakoo suggests and go organic.

  4. Just don't get a cheap one like the $15 one on amazon. They work for a week then get messed up and doesn't tell you how to calibrate them
