I've never grown before, but I've been very interested for some time. I plan on growing in the woods behind my home, but the soil is very wet so I was thinking about buying some large plastic trash cans and filling them with soil. I'd then halfway bury the trash can so that only part of the trashcan is visible, but it keeps my plants from getting flooded from rainwater running through the woods. I also need tips on what to put in my soil. (nutrients and such) Any help is much appreciated, thanks
Hi,that is a good idea to keep them from flooding, also it will deter critters and you can put wire around it so the deer and varmits dont eat it. For soil, you can see this. Subbed! http://forum.grasscity.com/organic-growing/1116550-easy-organic-soil-mix-beginners.html
