Does Dank Cost More to Grow?

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by TedNYC, Jan 28, 2015.

  1. Considering its a lot more expensive, does it cost more to grow? Or do they just charge more because it gets you higher?

  2. Well it certaintly takes more care and effort to grow good bud. I don't know if supplies cost more, but its definately something you need to put in alot to get out alot.

    great question,
it definitely is an art, producing high grade cannabis consistently.
think of it as a painting and the crazy ass prices people pay for them

  4. Not so much price wise but you need to put time and effort.

  5. I like white widow strain easy to grow everyone loves it trichomes are loaded

  6. Since you'll want to invest more it will cost more, but not a ton. Just stuff like better vitamins and more time.

No. Good genetics cost more but you can make a shitty grow into a good grow with effort and knowledge.

edit- it costs more from your dealer because it takes more attention for better weed and time=money.

Once you get dialed in it just becomes a matter of genetics....of course "dialing in" requires preparation, the right set up and proper curing. Terrific Dank is just a bit more rare than all the rest out there, so it becomes a matter of market value. If you are selling around outdoor harvest season (Sept through December in the northern hemisphere) your "dank" will be worth less than if you pull it out in April or May just because of availability. The true actual costs are the same for shit weed as for Dank for a real grower....but would be more for a shit grower stepping up his game on the first run...he's paying more to get "dialed in".....

  9. The primary requirements to 'Dank" are; a proper balance of light, nutrients, grow method, temps, and relative humidity

I have been perfecting a super simple, high yielding system over the last 4 grows

It consists of a DIY Mini-Me F & D (see thread in Hydro section), using a complete ONE part dry nutrient formula + Amare Technologies leds

My first grow using these leds produced the fattest, densest buds ever

  10. You can spend more, you could spend less, chances are you'll get the same end result, so as long as the plant is getting everything it needs.
