Chronicibuss LED, DWC, LSD Poison (lavender,Skunk, Durban Poison)

Hi all.
Back again for another show.
The northern light blue turned out great and I apologize for not having the motivation to keep up on the journal.
My head feels better and I have been inspired once more to advance my love and curiosity for growing.
Only thing new besides the strain is a set of t5ho lights and an aero bucket I put together the other day.

Day 1 of germination

 

This is the little system I put together the other night to house my new baby until she is ready for the flower tent.


It was very easy to build. I cut the top out of the lid on the other bucket, which you could get for free like me from local restaurants. Mine is a pickle bucket from Harvey's.
I took the rubber ring out of the reservoir buckets lid and super glued it to the rim of the other top bucket to leak proof it.
A water pump in the reservoir feeds a 1" hose up into the top bucket through a hole I cut. Then an elbow piece connects to another piece of hose which I then looped around the bucket finishing off with a plug in the end of the hose. There are 2 sprayers on top of the hose to keep the hydroton moist while roots are still developing, and 4 sprayers underneath. Put an airstone in because I could.
It's not perfect but it was stuff I had lying around. I would change it to a 3/4" hose and get 180Ëš sprayers instead.

DAY 5 OF SEEDLING
Still waiting for them roots to come popping out the bottom. The top growth has slowed a little so I think it is working on roots. Second set of true leaves are ready to start growing.

 

She was showing signs of possible root problems not long after last post so I dumped out the rocks and took a look to find one excellent root, but two that looked dry or burnt. I think those two got stuck on pebbles.
So I put it all back together and added a bit of roots excelurator.
Moved her under the led at 24" above and 1/4 power.
A day later she has roots everywhere and new growth from the two "dry" roots.
The leaves have grown overnight as well.

 

Yes indeed.
I am glad I listened to my guts and took action before it became a catastrophe.
Think the Rockwood plug was impacted with hydroton preventing the roots from going anywhere.

She is on her third set of true leaves and recovering well.
And has a new baby sister that is just forming her first true leaves.
Also I am going to purchase some seeds tomorrow.
Need to get another indica going.
Pictures sometime tomorrow after I walk to the store to buy some seeds.

 

So I went to the store and got a pack of seeds this morning.
Originally was after a mostly indica but went for a 50/50 cross.

going to start one or two tonight.

The lsd poison has remained very compact and I'm expecting it to start taking off soon.

 

On the fourth set of leaves and looking good.
lights are at full blast now but I have left them at the same height of about 24".
Added a mild amount of nutrients to the reservoir because it was starting to look a bit faded on the older leaves and the cotyledons were all Brown and dried up.
Going to test the ph level and take some pics tomorrow.

 

The ph was good but I added a couple drops of ph down to keep ahead of the ph creep. I think she grew overnight and has finally reached the veg stage.
She has a bit of heat stress but I can't really do anything about it right now.
Still adjusting to my new place and conditions. The humidity is real low in the winter here sitting around 30% and I'm running a humidifier in my room.
Temps aren't too bad but are 85Ëš and the thermostat here only has 2 settings, off and on.

Onto her sixth set of true leaves.


The little one is still getting on well.


I figured I would try something new and use flowering additives for the first time so I ordered a bottle of bud-xl and top booster.

 

I changed the reservoir water and gave it a shot of amino treatment I got for free as a sample.
Removed the lowest 3 sets of fan leaves and had a good look by removing the net pot.


I still need to change the water of the other one.
