  2. Welcome elroyboy. Happy to have you.
My second one might be around the same age as yours. You doing another bag seed again or did you clone your last one?

Quick update while I'm on here : I pinched the new growth off to get some lower shoots up to the top.

  3. Nah man. Took a chance and got some OGS beans. So far so good. Fingers crossed and DWC this time.

  4. Right on. My first plant was a bag seed in soil under a 4x32w T8 fixture from home depot. After that I quickly went to dwc and Ordered some female seeds c99. It is so much better with the dwc for sure. I'm excited for you!
Feel free to Post a pic and/or update here once in a while if you would like.

  5. It has been one month since I began germination. Things look alright however I have been unable to do a reservoir change for the second one because I needed the water to flush my toilet. So blasted cold that the pipes underground have been frozen for days. I hope they can fix it or it warms up so things can get back to normal. She is showing a bit of nitrogen toxicity but we are going to see if we can ride it out.

    Some pics from this morning.

  6. Lookimg good chronicibus! Sucks about the frozen pipes. Hopefully none of them bustn you. Are you buying water from the store?

  7. For drinking yes. The pipes are actually frozen underground 4 or 5 feet below earth. Using melted snow to flush the toilet now. Lucky I had a few buckets of water set aside for fish and plants that I was able to put to use. Went on vacation this weekend to see my Parents and live in luxury with some running water. Will be back sometime tonight and will have some pics. Have not seen them in a couple days now.

  8. I pulled 6 fan leaves the size f my hand off to make room for the new tops and I pinched the new growth off of the 4 tops. This will likely be the last time I do but I can't say for sure. Forgot to take pics before the trim.

  9. It has been extra busy with plumbers, township workers, cleanup crew, and neighbours coming and going, but I do have water again. I won't bore everyone with all the details, but I found it a good opportunity while I am not flowering and my brother has nothing on the go to allow house mates and the likes to come in and look around.

It had gotten to the point where the reservoir was near dry and she was fully wilting. The younger one was still in desperate need of a res change and was not looking well so out of necessity I dumped a bottle of water in her which caused the leaves to rust up (salt) but has since recovered nicely.

I cut some of the undergrowth and getting ready to take cuttings and put into flower mode.

  10. She has begun 12/12 two days ago and looking good. Just updating quickly so I can log that flowering has begun because I will likely forget and need to look back in the journal. Will post pics either tonight or tomorrow.

  11. Third day of 12/12 and things are good.
Raised the light because it looks like the top leaves are getting bleached out a little.

    Here are a couple pictures.

Damn. Those are some beautiful plants, subbed for sure. Good to see they managed through the wilting and are thriving so well! I love seeing how resilient these plants can be, especially in hydro setups. Can't wait to see the flowers develop. Do you have any previous experience with the LSD strain? Love skunk and always wanted to try Durban. Can't wait to see the lavender infusion
    Good luck to Ya!

  13. Thanks and welcome.
They sure are resilient, and a good thing too. I have had a light crash down on a flowering plant and had to use masking tape on the stalks. Healed in less than a week and turned out fine.

I have not grown expert seeds lsd poison or any of the 3 but I am looking forward to it especially as my stash is nearing its end. The only other sativa dominant strains I have grown is female seeds c99 and bubblegummer.

  14. Day 12 of 12/12 and moving right along nicely.
    Some pictures from today.

Some might be sideways but no big deal.

I'm thinking tomorrow I might do one final trim up and get rid of some lower bud sites so I don't have to waste my time trimming scraggly buds.

  15. Day 19 of 12/12
She really reached for the sky. had 2 runaway stalks that were a good 6 inches taller than the rest of the canopy. So today I bent them each in two places. Think that might be called super cropping but not sure.
I never ended up removing the lower bud sites and I really did not want to disturb her progress but I decided to because I don't want bleached buds.
After tomorrows watering I am goin to start giving some bud Xl.
then next week I'm gonna hit it with the top booster.

    Some pics from today.

  16. Just a quick word on bud xl. I have read many people saying they noticed no difference when using it compared to not using it. Well 2 days after first feed with it and I have noticed a difference already. The smell went from a mild skunk and that typical chlorophyll plant smell to an amazing sweet fruity smell. Smell my finger hahaha.

  17. Day 27 of 12/12
Buds are starting to fill in and leaves are nice and Crystal coated. I am out of smoke and it will be approximately 40 days until harvest.
Going to feed her some top booster this weekend and hope the time goes by without notice.
Got a couple seeds in the mail : reserva privada's skywalker kush and a free 710 cheese. I have not yet grown a cheese plant before so that might be fun.

sometimes the pics don't turn out well because I'm using a tablet for a camera so I took a bunch of shots.

  18. Brief update with pictures tomorrow, don't feel like shooting any right now.
The buds have grown huge over the week after using top booster. So big that all the stalks started leaning over from the weight.
I ended up taking the steel frame from my smaller tent and a bit of twine to use as a support. What a wrestling match it was. So many sticky heavy buds to hold up while I went around the frame with twine.
My arm hairs are stuck down to my skin and my stylus stuck to my fingers.
MmmMmmmmm it smells so good in here, but my neighbour upstairs has started moving around more than usual *paranoia a little* but I could care less.

Apologies to my plant and neighbours and to any who may try and stop me, cause I won't stop.

  19. Day 45 of 12/12

an estimated 3 weeks remaining until harvest.

  20. Almost harvest time so I snipped one of the lower branches to dry for harvest day as is my tradition so I can have some trimming motivation.
    I think day 61of 12/12 is where I'm at.
Buds are bigger and pistils are about 50% orange or more. Trichomes are nice and milky looking.
I am decreasing nutrients with each bucket I mix up and getting ready for the party.

Some pics of the bud I clipped.

    And some of the plant.
