My dilemma with autos

Discussion in 'Advanced Growing Techniques' started by nswoutdoor, Jan 27, 2015.

  1. Well this is the dilemma I have I have some autos, fast and vast and they are growing outside in pretty big pots about 12 litre they are they are 7 weeks old from seed and prob have a couple of weeks left everything is going good except the fact that the rain started about a week ago and looks like its gunna be around for another week or two I'm worried they won't put good weight on in the last little bit because of lack of sun and over watering. I have a 250 watt hps I could put them under to finish off or would this be a bad idea as the plant has already been flowering outdoors for about 4 weeks already and would be happiest left where it is?
Thanks for any input or advice guys

Damn man I don't know.. I feel you can't go wrong either way.. Mother Nature usually takes good care of em so I'm sure they'd be ok but won't get to their full potential. But you absolutely can't go wrong by bringing them into the environment they desire and grow well in. Especially if they don't get much sun in the last couple weeks of flower I think you'd see a difference in yield if you left them outside rather than bringing them in. So honestly I'd say finish em under the 250 watt hps

  3. Or even bring half of em in and leave the other half outside and just see how it goes. Just a thought

  4. I put a couple inside left a couple out see how it goes its just a bit of an experiment anyway as I've never grown autos before but judging by the plants ill prob get 14-20 gram each plant which I don't really mind about considering they were planted mid December and have produced nice looking nugs already

  5. You're growing outdoors seriously at this time of year? Bring them in. 250w is stronger than cloudy sunlight.

  6. Bruz I'm in australia

  7. The fast and vast seems to be good for such a quick turn around looks and smells dank ready to harvest in the next couple of days pretty it will b 63 days old from seed I also have one cash crop auto which looks and smells amazing around 60 days old now probably has another couple of weeks.
The best thing I done was stick them under the light they r loving it and the buds have swollen up and really sticky lots of resin
