Can you re-veg a fully flowered plant?

  1. Can one re-veg a fully flowered plant, after cutting down the main stems, and only leaving the lower parts of the plant?

  2. Yes you can. I've revegged a few times after harvest just to get some new cuts, it really will depend on how stable the genetics are as well though.   It is stress and with increased stress comes a chance to do poor, but i've not had any issue, usually only once on the reveg though, some go as many as four times.. that seems like to much.

  3.
yeah just leave a couple buds w/ some leaves on there, water it well and put it under 18-24 hours of light.
    and be patient..

  4. Thanks guys

  5. a lot of bad info being given to you bro. I removed uncertainty from the quote so read that one instead. I'd proceed with caution if you're cutting down your plant. Cutting causes stress. Stress causes change. I've harvested over 5 plants at the same stages. Had one intersex just a couple of nanners here and there. Harvesting small and multiple times allows you to stress test. Each time you stress you run a chance of irreversible change. Had another not show any signs the first big harvest but the second time caused it to go nanners on literally every spot they could show. Just look up stress nanners and you'll see they stick out real bad.

    An absolute non guarantee.

And if you are going to say "intersexed" Why not just fucking call them Hermies which is what they are.
    You can reveg.

Simple fact and you can do it and the risk of hermaphrodites are real but with stabil genetics not likely.

Want to know what typically causes hermies?  Light issues, and too much heat.   You can cut entire plants down and let them continue to flower if season is long enough.   Autoflowers produce up to 3-4 harvest from a single plant this way.  Regulars you LST and chop to get the desired growth. Having successfully revegged a great pheno i had out of all my Sour D's one year,  I cloned her and had another successful crop of the exact flower i wanted.

People reveg plants for several generations while breeding as well and trying new crosses.  Generational re-veg's from particular pheno's in a garden is a well known and used technique.   Yes.. you increase stress.. this is a big no shit, it will cause them to yes.. do poorly, which includes the possibility of going hermie.

Yes the risk of hermes is real, but that is a given everybody knows this.  I've revegged great genetics w out a single issue.

  7. I'd love to see this auto that flowers several times. I could keep one next to my goose that lays golden eggs.

Its not "multiple flowerings" its a continuation of keeping the plant going. I do not mean to 're-veg" the auto.  Try it on your next set. Believe whatever you may but autos keep going and do not just simply die off, at least the ones i picked up from TH did.     My Critical Hog went all season long right next to my regs, took its main cola and a few side branches and let it keep going. It kept growing and growing.  You CANNOT reveg an auto.   Sorry I was not clear there!  You totally cannot get legitimate full harvest but you can keep harvesting from a plant that keeps producing all summer long.

I like my auto's over regs.  Finish a plant off, already have another auto in its place.   Those hog's i did were awesome. Some of the other shit i had bad luck with this year sadly.  Only got two harvest out my autos vs the regular 3-4 (by continuously sowing not revegging)

I wrote that much earlier in the day after a few dabs and a hard cider mixed with spiced cider whisky (so dank) :D  But you cannot keep flowering an auto permanently, many regulars you can reveg and keep happy to get clones off of etc.  Sorry for the confusion there!

I do recommend the TH seeds critical hog, the plants  kept filling out all summer long.

  9. Fair enough. I have a Auto Northern Lights going that I could leave out all summer after harvest to prove a point. You may be able to harvest in stages, chopping most of the plant and leaving the bottom buds to bulk up more. You can do that with any strain but I don't consider it multiple harvests. It's just one harvest done in stages. For the plant to make NEW bud sites, it would require new negative growth which autos don't do. I'd loved to be proven wrong, but I'm obviously very skeptical.

  10. No you are right, i should have been much more specific.  I get several harvest out of autos but that is with multiple plants.

What are your favorites so far?  TH stuff has made me so happy.
