Mixing weed with to tobacco ??

  1. So I recently heard that people do this and I have to ask WTF?!?! Like to me , weed is not tobacco , and it doesn't give you lung cancer blah blah I know the medical purposes and advantages so why would people mix with tobacco. I actually moved to England for a bit with my wife and when I went to light a bowl several Brits were like " what?!? Your gonna smoke it straight ?!?! And I was shocked that they would think I mix . Also in Sweden most people here smoke hash and tobacco. I guess I just don't understand . But I can't lie , I do like that everyone has viewed me " badass " for just smoking weed in a pipe lol crazy fools 👌😄❤️🙋

  2. It's a common practice in Europe, particularly in the UK/GB/England, whatever you choose to call that little island. I would never even consider ruining a good strain of cannabis by mixing it with tobacco.

  3. Ha I know right it seems like desecrating a fucking golden treasure I can't imagine that taste either eww

  4. In a bowl it doesn't really make that much sense other than it makes your stash last a bit longer, some may prefer the taste or the added bit of headrush/ high, it's pretty enjoyable when in a joint, it lasts a little longer , burns smoother. It's all preference, the positives are that you use less weed, some may enjoy the taste/headrush. The negatives are that its not as healthy some may dislike the taste/harshness and just want a clean pure bud high

  5. Helllllll no.   One group of friends I had would always want to do that but I never let them.  They would do it on their own but not with me.  If you smoke cigarettes then that might be cool, I guess you wouldn't have to smoke that cig after the blunt and can bang it out all in one.  But someone who is not addicted to nicotine.....no.

They liked it but I never would do that.  Majority of people I hung out with wouldn't but just like 2 or 3 friends that I knew who also loved cigs and all types of stuff.  I didn't hangout with them too often.

  6. Sounds like you got a bit of self to get over

  7. I've never seen anyone stutter through text

  8. Just cant do tobacco.....no reason, no how.

  9. No, tobacco makes me sick it's gross.

  10. Everyone knows why it's bad to mix, but it's more of a cultural thing.
I'm from Australia and people mix all the time.

If you want to smoke a joint in public, you mix tobacco to cover the smell. It actually works if it's about at least 40:60 tobacco to weed. I've walked past cops in public while smoking one.

With bong seshes with friends, you mix a bit of tobacco into the chop so you don't use up all the weed too quickly. Also, when you rip it, the tobacco gives you a headrush which makes the high hit you harder and faster.

I do agree that it's super unhealthy and shouldn't really be done, but I also understand why it's done. I only ever mix when my friends are, but alone, I only smoke green.

  11. Its dried plant matter, does bay leaf gross you out?

  12. I smoked with a couple guys from Spain once that's all they rolled. It was harsh on the throat but intense high

  13. A joint with weed and tobacco is called a spliff.

I try to stay away from tobacco because of how addictive and unhealthy it is.

Plus Mary Jane is perfect as she is. She doesn't need any help. ;)

  14. The main reason I made this post was because I know that tobacco can take away from the pure high of just smoking Mary Jane by itself . I'm not hating on people that mix it's just a preference and as you said cultural thing . I've noticed that is more common in Europe . So I wanted opinions on it . Me personally , I would never mix anything with Mary Jane . I know of people that do not just mix tobacco unfortunately .

  15. Just because you're not used to it doesn't make it a huge deal. It's how things are done on a different Continent.
In the UK people mostly roll joints (weed+tobacco). Blunt papers are for when you've got a lot of bud and want a big smoke - tobacco free. 50% of my friends mix their bowls if they're doing a bong and 50% do not.

Getting tired of all the hating and judging on people who smoke cigarettes on this site.  If i want to put some tobacco in my joint then i'm bloody well going too. Most weed smokers in my city smoke fags too (90% of my ganja buddies smoke tobacco). If i had someone come over from another country and they rolled only blunts, i wouldn't think 'what a bad ass!', but just assume they have good funds to be burning that amount of green. It's a class B drug over here, which can often results in high prices.

I went to Canada and saw that they all rolled 1 skinners with no tobacco. I used a big skin, 30% tobacco and 70% weed and they were shocked and loved it. Ye, maybe i didn't like their way of doing it. But it's no big deal.

Smoke and doth not judge  :smoking:

  16. I think tobacco is slightly better over in Europe too I've had a few imported smokes (turkish , British) and its a lot smoother and more flavor than in the states so that might have something g to do with why they usually mix tobacco in over there.

THAT IS TRUE!  I am studying in Germany. This is one of the things i had to get used too.
I found it preposterous, although i am starting to get used to it.
At parties here weed/and tobacco go together and is a common occurence.
But when i am alone and chilling, i smoke it pure.

Weed here is more expensive, so they try to save as much weed as they can so they mix it with tobacco.

  18. Grateful I grow.

  19. Doesn't nicotine stop the thc from hitting the brain? So wouldn't that make you less high?

  20. Originally in the European countries mostly what was imported was hash from the Mediterranean . They mixed it with tobacco so they could smoke it and make it last longer, it has since carried over to weed.
