I was siting on thebed and outside I heard my puppy and housemates dog getting upto no good outside, so I went out to sort them out and both dogs had been diging up my housemates plants (not weed plants by the way) they were standing right in the middle of the garden waging there tails so I sternly said "NO!" grabed my puppy by the ear (6months old shes a real cutie lol) and gave her a moderate slap on her hind leg and sent her away as the other dog Buddy ran past me. told my dog off and then went and done the same to buddy and then it was over and they didn't go back. I was standing outside and the housemate comes home so I told him about the dogs and he went into the house and got buddy and dragged him out by the collar and literally dragged him over to the garden, he showed buddy the mess and hit him on the chest with a glass bottle (didn't smash) then picked him up above his head and threw him down onto the drawers(like from inside a dresser) that the plants were in. iwent inside and he was still telling him off for another minute or so. id say he would have been punching and kicking the dog. and the housemate and his nephew don't hold back either they deal to him good. the beating happens on a regular basis but this Is just getting out of hand im sick of seeing this happening he is a real cool dog, he is a mastiff cross with a staffy. hes a real nice dog and this aint just cool. I try to say to them its not cool and they shouldn't beat him so bad but it doesn't help. feeling like I should call animal control to take the dog from them what do you guys think? he deserves a loving home in my opinion. I don't think they deserve him. what do you guys think?
well I mean if you are gonna call animal control, there are going to be issues with you and your friends, and since theres already gonna be problems between yall if you do, then I would suggest growing some balls and being stern about them beating their dog. Step in next time the animal is getting beat and be mean about it. Also video record the abuse so you can show authorities if it leads up that route
I honestly could not stand by and watch someone beat an animal,especially for such a trivial reason. Nah mate you should have picked up something and fucked him right over the head with it! That is animal cruelty! If my dogs do wrong, i hit them on the nose with a finger and tell them off. That is sufficient. If i saw anybody treat a dog like that, id break the fuckers legs. Some people dont deserve to have pets

If you can't deal with it yourself phone some kinda animal protection that can, considering he's doing this outside neighbours or anyone may have seen it so it's not necessarily going to look like it's you who has reported this. Dude please seriously find this dog another home , just because this simply " bothers " you doesn't mean you understand how that poor dog feels just do me a favor and imagine if you were the dog , how would you feel being beaten for not knowing better , the first mistake was leaving the dogs unattended in a garden . When dogs are " under stimulated" they " dig , chew and tear things up " this is just because they are bored and with two together it's like monkey see monkey do. I am not telling you you are wrong with how you disciplined your pup. I think dogs need some form of discipline but how your roommate did it was completely out of order . The longer you sit by the more that dogs blood is on your hands . Honestly , I will put it bluntly because I have a passion for animals and quite honestly I feel most animals are more decent than a lot of humans I know . Please do the right thing . I didnt even read the whole story but you shouldnt just stand by and do nothing while your "friends" beat on a dog. I'd beat the shit out of any of my friends if they were to lay a hand on my dog the wrong way. JESUS GOT SHOT IN THE FACE
