My first grow - Norther Lights Blue by delicious 312 watt CFL grow

Transition is and even feed 2:2:2 on my bottles so still plenty of nitrogen. Flowering ratio goes 1:2:3
(Grow:micro:bloom). I left 4 of 12 lights the 6500k and other lights already swapped out for 2700k. The stretch is really fast now (day 10 flower) but allows me to spread out the canopy even further with the last. Have about three more inches of vertical space left should get past the stretch. Do they slow down dramatically after the first 3-4 weeks veg?

So I have a few more weeks than I'll untie them....gonna keep the canopy as low as possible then....hopefully 3" below light if I can.

Just an update for the followers. Today is day 14 of flower, one more week of stretch and then I will untie her and let the buds grow. It's been bust trying to keep her canopy even as the stretch is in full swing. I'm letting the lower branches catch up and hopefully all will be even by next week.

Still using transition nutes till end of stretch then gonna try and get her to full strength flower nutes by week 4

I'm usually in high 70's on avg..very low 80's occasionally. At least I have about 3" to play with for the last week of stretch.

I was thinking about defoliation too as cfl doesnt penetrate very well.

So today I fed her with 100% nutes for the first time....I've been going lightly to say the least. I wasn't too scared after I tested the ppm and saw it only went up roughly 250ppm. Hope she responds well to the feeding. She is really starting to shoot pistils out now, and the growth seems to be slowing down a bit too. She must be getting ready to pack on some weight (fingers crossed). Hoping for a good harvest off her, at least last me till my next harvest!

She's not even three weeks into flower, but I really hope she brings in a decent yield. I know it's CFL, but am in the midst of switch over to led for better yields. I smoke enough for my anxiety and insomnia and really hate having to buy bud hoping it will help. Is 2+ zips (goal) seem unrealistic? And honesty is what I'm after... I can take it. Only helps in the long run.

So, the techniques I used which some is a bit of a controversial one was defoliation. When growing under my new light I won't defoliate (in the beginning anyway) as penetration is better with LEDs than CFL's. So, since I have the CFLs now, I cleaned up all bud sites and removed all fan leaves that were blocking buds. I will continue to do so until harvest ensuring optimal lightning on the buds. I will share my experiences.

Here is how she looks at day 21 into flower. After the defoliation she seems to have swollen some....maybe in my head lol
