My first grow - Norther Lights Blue by delicious 312 watt CFL grow

Just an update. Fed her with 1.5 gal of RO water to flush out the medium and ensure she stays healthy. I will post pics tonight later after a few hours of lights on.

 

Hey everyone! Been a few days since my last update. One feeding and a few foliar feeds have been all that's really been done.

On a note, the FIM attempt I think was a fail. If anyone has some input on what exactly happens.m I was under the assumption it was like topping, but really, I just slowed growth more or less...

Take a peek and let me know thoughts and advice. Next feeding will be tomorrow most likely.

I also began some LST on her as well. And she has shown her preflowers also, it was a feminized seed but still nice to see.

 

So you think the growth rate is pretty good then?

 

So it's topping with keeping the upmost top growth. I did it right, phew!
And cheers for informing me on the FIM, it was very new to me.

 

I havnt heard of blue mystic, what breeder? Norther light blue is a northern lights x blueberry

 

Hmmm. Very well could be. Lots of cross with nl being very easy to grow, high yield and good quality. I will be trying a few breeders to see what I like then stick with two or three strains. Barney's Farm look pretty reputable as well. Some nice strains in their catalogue.

Well, here is an update. Threw a 6" fan in the box and I don't know what's going on with my therm and hygrometer. It's saying temps were up to the low 90's!!!! Not good, but temps never got that high before the fan went in. But I'll keep a close eye on it. Ideas on why that happened?

Anyway, visual updates for those interested. Will continue lst right up into flowering.

After some LST and a feeding. Here she is all untied. I will tie back up later today. Any thoughts on when to throw her to flower? Obviously even out the canopy first.

Yeah the last two days i defoliated some of the hand sized fan leaves that were blocking new shoots and she bushed out fast afterwards. I'm hoping the lower growth catches up this week so I can throw her to flower then. I have limited height to work with so sooner the better.
