So we are very close to harvesting our first plant and have heard numerous ways to tell when it's that time. I have been told some people go by the color of the pistils....harvest when 75% is orange....and some people harvest once the trichomes are foggy. What do you prefer? Also I gave heard some people harvest the top/mature buds then wait until the others are more full....how many people do this and how many people just harvest it all in one shot? Lastly what is the common bud size? My plant seems to have a lot but they are smaller...I'd say nickel size. Looking forward to others response! ♡
I'd say bud size varies man so thats no real way to tell. Experts use the trics as tellers of maturity. They crop when its a milky color some are able to just tell when its time. You can also partial harvest the plant, nothing wrong with that but it will stress it for sure. But post some pics for us it will be way easier for us to help you.
Any recommendations on how to make these buds blow up in these final weeks? Nutrients I have are sensi base nutrients, others from advanced I have are cal mag xtra, nirvana, bud candy, big bud, and lastly I have bloombastic. Running in a 5 gallon bucket and usually do 3 gallons of RO water. Thanks!
