  1. Hey Grasscity Hoping you guys can come through for me again  :smoking:

All start first by trying to give as much detail as possible on my grow .

Im using ProMix Hp 400 watt M.H . Using Grow Box Line Of Nutes From General Organics.

I have an auto from expert seeds going NLxBigBudd she's close to 5 weeks old and is in her first week of flowering.

I noticed about 5 days ago that my plant was looking droppy so at first i checked making sure she was not in need of a watering . All also add my temps are humidity 40% and Temp is 77 degree's.

After taking a better look i noticed on a bottom leaf there was small little rusty looking dot's on the leaves. Than after really examining the leaves i found these very small and hard to see bugs they are white and orangey brown. They don't fly , They seem to crawl but there so small it's hard to tell.

They don't seem to like neem oil but after a day or so there back to work again on my plant .

They seem to be sucking the chlorphly out of the plant sorry grass city my spell check isn't working lol .

Please Help me out I hate smoking erb that i didn't grow myself !  :smoking:

  3. Sounds like red spider mites and their babies (nymphs, I think they're called).

Neem oil works really well but it doesn't kill them, it is an anti-feedant.  It makes them starve to death, but after 3 days any eggs hatch and it starts again so you have to use the neem oil a few times in a row, like every other day for about 10 days, to totally get rid of them

  4. Here's a few pics of the plant I just hit them with neem last night so all these tiny lil pests have gone into hiding . Even when they are out I don't think the camera could really pic them up . There probably around the size of a grain of pepper lol if I was to guess .

  5. could be thrips or mites. Neem will do they job if you use it constantly, but your flowering so your window isnt too large.

  6. yeah that's one part of the problem is it's an auto and it just went into flowering about 5 days ago . so im not sure how far into flowering you can use it . I also went out and bought diatomaceous earth the food grade one not sure if that will help the situation ??? how do these mites or thrips show up lol I for years never had any kind of pest problem.

  7. Thrips and mites can come in bagged soil. They can definitely sneak in on your clothing, pets, and through the intake vents. DE won't do much of anything as both the pests are leaf eating insects.

I will do insect pest management sprays all the way till 4 weeks into flower but usually no later that that. It really depends on how well your room sheds humidity.

  8. I do have some sort of pest spray going to try and find it , and all let you know what the name of it is .
My room has a small window that i can open if needed it's freezing here so it cools rather quickly if i need to take the humidity down.

Thanks for the advice again  :smoking:  bham!
