  1. Hey guys I need help, me and my buddy came across a wonderfully potent and danky 1/2 lb of the rare strain and phenotype thin mint girl scout cookies! it was soo potent and had a beautiful smell of actual thin mints!! Only bad thing is we found seeded buds :( about 2 ounces were seeded as he'll with about 3-6 seeds per gram. My question is I have 16 seedlings I popped from these seeds, is it worth growing them our? Is there a chance I can get pure females even if it was a hermaphrodite gene?? Or am I in the clear?? I really want this strain but I do want to produce seeded buds.. is there a chance I can get sinsemilla from hermy genetics?

  3. Were there hermie flowers on it too, or just the seeds? If just the seeds, the pollen could have come from a different plant (accidental pollination). If that's what happened, you should end up with about a 50/50 male/female ratio, and depending on how different the donating genetics were, you should see a wide variety of different looking plants (phenotypes) in the seeds you are growing out.

The hermie part is a bit more complicated. If the donating plant was truly hermaphroditic, and the cookies were not, some of your plants may inherit the herm gene. If the cookies got stressed out and grew male flowers as a result, and that pollen was viable, the resulting seeds, by definition, would be feminized naturally. So, if all of your beans end up being female, you'll know what happened.

  5. @dukedogg76 we didn't see any nanners , these budds were all pure female flower! It looked like some magnificent buds too that's what tripped us out. And that's awesome to know about the ratio of females from hermies beans. I'll put that knowledge to good use when I flower these babies! Appreciate the help big dogg!

  7. It depends on the pollen.  If you got that many seeds, she was probably a hermie and will pass on that genetic trait.  When ganja is dry, nanners are especially tricky to see if you are not used to looking for them.  That doesn't mean that you can't grow them, you will just have to keep an eye on the plants more than usual.  Every three days, be looking for pods and nanners and remove them before they can mature.  Even if they show up, they need to be mature in order to pollenate.  Use water to neutralize the spread of pollen if it does come up.
