  1. me and my buddy had an awesome 1/2 lb of some thin mint girl scout cookies. It was fabulous and potent, I mean we were so happy to find such a rare and potent n.strain! We were even more stoked to find seeds but the problew was that about 2 whole ounces were seeded like hell. About 4 to 6 seeds per gram. So my question is does anybody have any info on this?? Could it be a hermy?? I really loved this strain, not to mention it was a rare phenotype of a rare strain! I have popped about 16 seedlings and am wondering if it's worth it to even keep them and try to find a female..? Has anybody ever come across this type of issue? Do you think there's a chance one of my seedling could be a pure female even if it was a hermaphrodite gene? Help please

  2. All cannabis has the ability to turn into a hermaphrodite under stress - it's a survival feature.

If a strain is stable, it takes more stress to force it to turn than if it's not very stable.

Those buds could have been from a plant that was stressed until it hermied or it could have simply been exposed to pollen.

If it was from an all female batch of plants and one turned into a hermaphrodite to pollenate itself or the rest, the seeds you've popped will all be female with rare exceptions. If you don't stress them, they may not even throw bananas on you.

If you have a few males, chances are there was no hermaphrodite in the mix.

  3. That makes a lot of sense. I've heard that also, that hermies seed mostly all females when feminization is done! Thanks my friend you sound like you know what your talking about and I appreciate the help!!
