    Wazaaa fellow growers,

so this is what I'm working with:

3 feminized special queen seeds from royal queen seeds, 5 sensi skunk feminized from sensi seeds.

    vegging:
    1x1x1 1/2 homemade vegging box
    2 CFLs
    red cups

    for final vegging/flowering:
    48x48x72 virtual sun grow tent
5 gal buckets, with organic compost+perlite+peat moss
400w HPS (hopefully getting and PRO GROW 400W soon getting tired of heat problems)

they were sprouted with the wet paper towel technique, first got sprouted after 24 hours, the last sprouted 3 days after (one never sprouted sadly). when transplanted to the red cups, one of the seeds didn't really fell in right (noticed this after a few days, due to this the only seed that has not broken soil yet), so well that one didn't make it unfortunately.

after the first watering of the seedlings i accidentally overwatered one and it stunted which causes it sort of to be a mutant.
the rest of the plants are loving the vegging box.
they get water every 3-4 days, PHed to 6.2.

right now I have 2 bag seed plants in the grow tent, and will move them outside as soon as the little ones get to big for their vegging box.

this was probably taken 5-7 days ago:

the bag seed plants in 12/12, one has just shown sex a 3 days ago (smaller one on the left) and other one is already shooting out white hairs (january 8th when showed sex).

made my scrog today, my side basically is to LST them with the SCROG.

advice is much appreciated!! can use loots of it!

    happy growing!

  3. Maybe add a little fan to your box. It helps the plants build thicker stems and helps with transpiration.

You might want to add more light also, they look a little stretched.

  4.

    Thanks for the tip!
bought 2 extra CFLs (phillips equivalent to 120w 2700k and 1850 lm) and added a little fan!

    Happy growing!

  5. Drop them into bigger pots;  you will be amazed at the burst of growth after the first week in a new pair of shoes.

  6.
i am waiting 1 more week dropping them into bigger pots. I was thinking of letting them grow a little bit more in the red cups and then jan 29th or the 1st of feb i will drop them in some 5 gallon pots with the 400w HPS, start LST, set up scrog,etc...
first have to put my bag seed plants outside so they can finish flowering there.

would the 400w HPS be to much for them to handle at lets say 20 days old?

  7. Welcome aboard Homie!

  8. Should be fine as long as you don't let them get cooked. Start with the big light at least a couple feet away while the babies get used to the intense light and heat. Its called hardening off because as youngins under cool light their skin is delicate and they need a transition to the harsher environment.

    a hermie I have outside:
    IMG_20150125_203536.jpg

i decided it was time to buy some decent nutrients, because where i live they only sell miracle grow -.-', and the rest is a lot of sketchy stuff that i haven't ever heard of or could find reviews about them!
so here is what is bought:

now that was all nice and stuff, now to the reason i did this post:

TADAAA, here I present to you the "mutant":

    IMG_20150126_123638.jpg

at first i thought it was stunted, but then i noticed that it was still growing; no idea what is wrong with it, did everything the same with that one as i did with the others.

as well I'm looking into buying a led grow light (between 600-800 watts) -- weather is just to hot always -- saw some decently priced ones from HTG, anyone has experience with these?

so any tips, suggestions, or comments about the so called "mutant" and of course anything else here haha!

    happy growing!
(just noticed that writing post high is a lot more fun!)

  11. update::::

Been a good couple of days!
Transplanted the the bag seed plants outside, one is loving it the other one not so much :( put them in a 30 gal pot with 1/3 local potting soil, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 peat moss.

the small babies were moved from the 1x1 vegging box to the 4x4 grow tent, and are loving it! i have the light around 2-2 1/2 ft above them now, so they can get used to the 400w HPS (HELP: when should i start lowering the light to like 10-14 inches above the "canopy"?)

i left the "mutant" in the vegging box, funny thing is she has started to grow just a couple of leaves randomly (will post a pic when i have time for it)

    TEMPS:    day 28.8C max (83.8F) night 21.6C (70.8F)
    humidity:  day 38-40%  night 55-65%

still have not given them any feeding, waiting on my fox farm nutrients to get here from the states...

    well some pics:

I'm thinking of starting to top them between now and a week, and start LST on them, wait till they get a bit bushier and put a SCROG up 10" above the soil.

to bad im not getting a lot of feedback, but who cares haha; now at least i have an overview of what goes right and what goes wrong :)

just scored some good bud so had to clean up my bong!

    Happy growing and happy smoking!

  12. First post Here

Very nice grow you have there. I started my grow(5xAurora_Indica_fem) about the same time so it's good to see how well your ladies are looking. I am using pretty much the same setup(4CFL), but planning on upgrading to a 600w HPS/MH in about a week. I am also looking to get a tent, not unlike the onee you have.

  13. Thank you very much! would love to see how your grow is going!
i used the 4 CFL set up for the first 2-2 1/2 weeks for vegging, then moved them into the 4x4 tent; hopefully soon enough i will have a more decent vegging room!

i wish i had gone with the 600w MH/HPS set up but where i live it is quite hard to get your hand on stuff like that locally, the 400w HPS is working great for me tho! (hopefully upgrading soon to a 800w LED)

you can get the tent and light stuff for pretty cheap on amazon.

  14. I will post some pics tomorrow.

And I lucked out having a Hydro store nearby. Everything is even fairly priced and they carry pretty much everything I would need as well as good advice.

Are you using a ballast with the 400w?

  15.
lucky you! I am using an all-in-one light box (not my first choice but this is what i could get locally), sealed marine deck light they called it here, just changed out the shitty bulb it had to a HPS and done. only thing i really don't like about this light is the heat...

  16. Nice grow going. I'm looking forward to watching them grow up. I started my first journal about a week ago - just getting the first set of true leaves on the seedlings.

Maybe I missed it, but do you have any exhaust/ventilation set up, and if so, what are the specs?

  17.
basically my air ventilation set up is a fan (blowing cool air)  zip tied to the tent where normally the aluminium duct will go in, same with the exhaust, just instead it is sucking air out.

it is not professional set up what so ever, but i works for now and that is what counts!

  18. update:::

    - I lowered the light so now it is a 1´ 1/2 above the little plants.

    - gave them their first feeding of fox farm big bloom (the feeding schedule says to give 6 tbs of big bloom per gallon of water i gave them 6   for two gallons so they can get used to it)

    - as well, i topped all 5 plants today hopefully the new tops will come out soon enough so i can start LST.

    - after almost 2 months of waiting on my rock wool cubes finally got them in today (for future cloning).

    - the mutant is still the mutant, and thinking of growing it in my vegging box with the 4 CFLS, seriously the strangest plant i have seen in my life!

should i follow the fox farm feeding schedule? I'm thinking of giving them a feeding once a week.

still looking of feedback about LED grow lights, what do you guys suggest?
