HELLO! This is my first post on Grass-city! My last years crop got jacked! LOL! It was non medical. (2) Plants, some Kush Bag-seed, 7 Gallon pots, Fox farm Soil, Roots organics Liquid Nutrients. THIS YEAR is much different. Here's the plan....! (6) 100 Gallon smart pots, possibly holes or beds. Regular potting soil, mixed with Worm castings, Guano, Bone meal, Kelp Meal, Blood Meal, Perlite, and some roots organics 707 mix, HERES THE STRAINS!: from a Portland medical Dispensary... White widow Snoops dream Train wreck Jorge's diamond Purple so. Cal. Master kush
Today is 55f outside and very nice. I Hope I can grow enough bud to donate to medical research groups. This will be all organic, and top shelf. I have a list to make for this grow still. I will do that in another post. I am not sure how this will go, but I am very optimistic. I have learned many methods for The best yield, I hope my cure goes well this year to make everything cake.
Ive decided to go with 100 Gallons of soil per plant, or whatever goes into (6) raised beds. I gone with a simple design for the containers, its cheaper than Smart Pots, or Plastic Pots. (6) Wooden Beds (6" tall x 48" wide x .75") thick sheets x 4 per bed. Buying 1.5 Sheets of the 4' x 8' Sheets at Either Home depot or lows. I may have to buy (2) sheets total at $51.97 per sheet.
UPDATE... Transplanted into 1 Gallon plastic pots... Local Eugene OR soil... (4) 4' Fluorescent tubes... Brand new 6500k bulbs. 160w (plus a small) fan for vegetative growth for now. (3) part Nutrient (Organic Liquid fertilizers) at low doses. A couple plants got transplant shock, but are doing fine. A nice looking "Train-wreck" cutting really taking off the most. I will be doing 6 plants total unless I add on more than 1 Medical card, right now Its just one card. We have a sweet spot for this setup, Its far from town and should be beautiful in the summer I have yet to spend any time there in the summer so I don't really know the conditions. This is a private medical grow, but I am often finding myself a guru to many up and coming growers. So I decided to pick up where I left off on providing a mutual vision of my grow experience. My plants are always very green and healthy, and no bugs, molds, etc. the only issue's / mistakes I've had in previous Medical grows is from Theft, or excitement. I have learned to take my time and let the quality of the situation become optimal, so my grow season will be successful, and lead to a fruitful harvest for many Veterans, Disabled individuals, and especially those with serious Medical Conditions that cannot grow there own, I would love to sell my extras to a few dispensaries, a few Medical Cannabis Research companies, and of course Keep this going with an Indoor Medical grow for the winter. In My state commercialized cannabis is gaining a reputation as the next boom, I'm not sure on commercialized cannabis grows, or who will dig there hands into the new "supposed" culture, but I will stick to medical for reasons of Medical significance to me and other Disabled folk....
Those are going to be beast by the end of the season. When do you plan to plant them outside? I hope you have lots of room to veg indoors! I've been getting a few plants started, but I planned to clone them, keep the clones for my outdoor and flower out the mothers inside as a sample of the smoke.
These 11 clones are gonna grow out for a month than I will take cuttings. I am gonna pick the Biggest and baddest one, and Get cuttings for myself so that I have that strain ready to go a round of veg/bloom indoors. The indoor setup will not be ready until after September or October. I plan to only do a space for vegging indoors for now. I am gonna upgrade the lighting for the (11) clones to a 400 MH and a 20" box fan and let em grow wild and big, with topping and Some LST. I may have to start with clones that will start there veg growth in 30 days or so. but I may be able to Take (6) of these and put em in the beds.
Ive Decided That 400 Gallons for Each plant is just to much money, and I can get some 3 lbs per plant @ 6 plants I expect no less than 20 lbs, I'de like to get 50 or 100... I may have to increase soil, and decrease quality of soil... Maybe then my quantity of bud will be bigger. but the concentration of potency may go down... Im not sure what I will get per plant Im going for 10 lb plants. I do Need some advice on Pot size... I'm going for a 50 lb grow... I can make it happen for that....
Heres a shopping list that is pretty much what I'm going for. 600 Gallons of soil + 1 bag of Per-lite, Plus (2) bags of worm castings, mix it up and fill up (6) smart pots. or beds...(haven't decided).. Then water with Liquid Grow Nutrients,%2
