Whats up guys?! Making a new journal because my setup changed so much.

    (2) 4x4x6.5 Tents one for veg one for flower (subject to change to 2 flowering tents possibly)

    (1) Mars II 1600 for flower

    (1) Mars Reflector 192x3 for veg

For venting I have (1) 6 inch fan for each tent. They meet each other in a "T" fitting and exhaust out of the ceiling into the attic. I'm having some trouble keeping the tent above 70 degrees, and my humidity is very low (19-20%).

I was able to raise it to 26% after a water where some runoff was left to lay in the floor of the tent, but idk how long that will last. I think this may be the death of my clones :(

Right now I have 3 big girls, and some clones from them that may or may not make it.

I have (2) Regular Afghani seeds sprouting, and one Dinafem White Widow.

When the clones either take or die I will Keep one of each strain to veg as new moms. At that time I will flip the 3 big girls and remaining clones to flower. The seeds will move over to the veg tent at that time as well.

Once I flip to flower I will install blumats in whatever is in the flower tent. The only thing I will apply after that are things like barley tea, alfalfa tea, aloe, maybe some foilars etc.

Today I misted with an aloe juice foilar, and I watered all the small clones and sprouting seeds with aloe juice as well.

I have a tea brewing for my big girls.

    2 Gallons Water

    2 Ounces Malted Barley

4 (or so) teaspoons of Ful-Power Fulvic Acid

    1/4 Cup aloe juice.

Will brew for 4 hours and apply to big girls.

I know I probably left some information out, just ask me anything! I really would like to have an active thread and some people who can help me. This is basically my 3rd grow but I'm really trying to get deeper into and understand organics more. My plants look decent, one of them had a T5 fixture resting on it for idk how long and was burned a little. The others I think had some shit get on the leaves when watering and have some discoloration.

Things sure do look weird under LED!

Ok this is long as hell but I hope I can gain some friends and followers!

    Attached Files:

  2. This is crazy. 70 in the room, 69 and supposedly dropping in the tent. My fan is all the way turned down with a controller.

I just closed one intake, took out a piece of 6 inch duct I had in a bottom inlet for intake, hoping that can help a little. I don't want to use electric heat! I guess I could lower my lights?

My tent is really being sucked in hard core lol

  3. Ok I closed the vents a little as mentioned earlier, and started exhausting INTO the room instead of out the ceiling. Now I'm getting:

    73 in tent

70 in room give or take.

Still 22% RH and I'm sure my clones are not liking that. The leaves are VERY VERY dry to the touch.

I will be going to look at humidifiers tonight.

has anyone had success with the small units at walmart?

  4. Why don't you buy a humidifier? Air innovations is a good one. They go on eBay for like 40$ and Craigslist too.

    70 isn't a bad temp. I rock 70 myself. 74 when its hot. 60 at night.

  5. Good to hear about the temps. I bought a Vicks humidifier.

Will see if it helps the room and tent! Excited to sleep with it.

It's a non filtered version so I have to clean it weekly but I can just do it with some other garden tasks.

  6. Tent is refusing to go above 23% so far still. The humidifier seems to have raised humidity in the room a little bit so far, and has used about a quarter tank.

Hasn't upped in the tent at all. Hope I see some results in the AM.

  7. yeah you might wanna get a bigger one. I had one on my tent and it had no impact. Until the air innovations arrived.
Also put the humidifier outside of the tent. This helped as well. But those little ones don't have enough kick or a big enough tank. I'll post a link

Thanks for suggrstion. I might buy one and maybe it will be enough to help the one i have but ive spent a lotttt. Does that one need a filter? Easy clean?

Yeah the tent managed to get to 30%. But im having trouble keeping it at 70 or better. The tent just came on though so maybe thats why.

I dont understand how it is colder in my tent than the room lol

  9. I just sprayed like the walls and the roof of the tent to dee if thst helps

  10. I've never cleaned it. Doesn't need it really. Filter is permanent.
I know you've spent a lot. Hey, I've spent over two g's myself.

  11. Yeah im getting there. If you count the first setup with t5s and hps and all that im near 3.

But its all good lol its a fun hobby.

  12. Haha. Yeah I'm creeping there because we are adding co2. Maybe another light.
You'll get it back. Two or three plants.

  13. Man co2 would be awesome but definitely not ready for that over here.

I just opened 2 vents all the way on my tent to see what kind of changes I get in temp/humidity.

My room is now near 40-42% with humidifier running, tent is staying at 20-21%.

Getting decent temps as the day warms up, 70-73.

I think that my white widow seed and dream machine seed are not going to sprout. The two afghani's are already sprouted.

    My clones....eh....

Some are wilted over bad and I think they will die. The rest are standing at attention the leaves are just twisted yellow and crazy. Hoping they spring back in a week, so I can flower them.

I'm thinking about just flipping my big girls and moving the rest of the plants to my other tent for veg. I want to see da budz!! haha

  14. I believe my weather sensor was giving me inaccurate readings.

I put the main station inside the tent, and on the floor I'm getting 50% humidity, about 74 F.

I had the main station on top of my light and was getting pretty similar readings. So maybe I never had a humidity problem.

Or maybe the humidifier is working and my problem just wasn't as bad as I thought.

I'm almost positive that sensor is messed up. I tried to reset it and the station just can't even link up with it now.

I can feel the humidity in my room when I breathe so I know it's not that dry.

  15. never tried those small humidifiers, i just whack an airstone into some water and let it bubble, my airpump has 4 outlets so thats 4 2L bottles cut in half bubbling away which is plenty for a tent that size. other options include a bucket of water with a towel hanging out and the labour-intensive classic: misting the walls of the tent every couple hours. if you wanna play with things try turning your exhaust off and running only intake fan(this may also solve your cold temp issues)

let us know how it goes

  16. Well I realized that the sensor was goving faulty readings. Im just running that humidi in my room and it seems to be doing fine. I think im in the 40s. Not perfect but im about to flower anyway.

Thanks dude! I mist the walls some too sometimes

  17. Flipped the switch to flower for my 3 big girls today.

Moved the clones and two seedling to the other tent. I know at least 3 or 4 clones have started to grow again, idk about the rest. I lost two planted seeds and a few clones. Oh well!

Gave the three girls each one gallon of

    Coconut
    Aloe
    Silica

    Water.

Then the rest I gave to the little clones and seedlings. Some ended up getting plain water cause I ran out. Will start soaking blumats tonight.

    Pics soon.

  18. The ladies seem to love the LED.

I'm definitely seeing tighter internode spacing

  19. I know I'm BS'ing on pictures but no one is in here anyway...

Blumats were put in and they seem to be working great, still trying to dial them in.

I applied light top dressing of alfalfa meal to my clones and seedlings, and tomorrow before lights on I will water with coconut and aloe water mixture.

After probably a day or two I will maybe do another barley tea for the big girls and some for the little ones. Probably give a diluted mix to the little ones if any. Still trying to figure out a water/feed schedule. I guess they would be fine with plain water, so anything else is a treat for my ladies.

Really happy. The clones are definitely perking up and the big ladies are thriving. Well...maybe not as thriving as some real vets but they look decent to me!

I swear pics soon, whether people are in here or not :p
