Pricing on rig?

  1. i'd pay no more than $100 on that thing

  2. But it comes with the nail with I'd say is $60 itself, then $120 for the glass. I've heard the same one goes in head shops for $200 so I think it's a steal

  3. I'm not big on brand names and you can get and identical rig without a logo for around $60, plus you shouldn't buy a used nail you have no way of knowing if its quality Ti without confirming its source.

  4. This guy knows whats up.
Look at dhgate for rigs. Unless you absolutely need Left Coast buy a nameless piece. You'll save tons more and probably be happier in the end. I wouldn't pay more than $100.

  5. dhgate is made in China though, isn't the quality of their products questionable?

  6. Hell yeah. Ordered this beauty from DHgate and it should be here soon. 1421939650855.jpg
    Cost me $57 total.

  7. Let me put it this way, would you rather break $200 worth of glass someday or $75?
I've broken more than $400 in glass water pipes in the past couple month's so yeah I'll tale a chance for $60 lol.
It all breaks the same if you drop if from 4ft lmao

Good luck with That base and skinny mini joint...
But whatever you loose 50 bucks worst case.

Sent from my iPhone 5s using Grasscity Forum..💨⛽️

  9. What? The same one goes for 200 brand new so you think $180 used is a steal?

The joint is my only concern ;) After the way I've seen glass break recently it wasn't worth going up to a head shop and spending $100+ on some dinky ass thing that would probably be thinner glass then that China made piece lol. All because it's slapped with some logo that'll fade some in a year after hard use and rubbing alcohol.
It's just glass, it'll break at some point if you use it every day for year's, shit happens.

I'll throw up some actual pics of it once I get it.... maybe if I remember.

On a side note, anyone here ever use rez block? Shit works wonders

  11. Was real stoned last night when I wrote this, but that's just for the glass, the highly educated domeless is like $70 itself depending on the current quality

  12.
My roor is from 1999 still intact.  I've only broken 1 piece so far in my life, and I've handled a lot of glass.  I've dropped pieces before but they were thick, american made pieces and they didn't break.  one piece hit hardwood floor from a 3ft table, another fell off a table about 2.5 ft onto a pile of firewood.  Those were fine, china glass would've shattered.

I support US products when I can, I'll pay more for them even if they are the exact same.  Back 20-30 years ago, uneducated americans could find decent jobs in factories, there were skilled labor jobs and the only people working registers at McDonalds were highschool kids who needed extra money.  Now you have grown ass adults with kids who have to take minimum wage jobs cause everyone wants to buy shit cheap without thinking about the consequences.  And really it's not about survival, very few are so poor that they have to buy cheap shit or they'd die, it's cause they want to buy more stuff, newer stuff.  OMG, what will I do if my cell phone is 2 years old, and I don't have on designer clothes.

  13. Please don't pay $180.... I'll PM you some deets. My husband has been blowing glass for over 15 years. :)

  14. It's more likely to break with China or India glass. Their glass is known for having low quality and their countries don't regulate the material added to the natural elements of glass. Why do you think people pay top dollar for quality pieces made with quality glass? German and Czech-Republic glass have standards they are required to follow and are best known for their "quality".
We've had many customers comment on how many times they've dropped our pieces and absolutely did not break..... unless above concrete, of course. lol. I'm not saying German and Czech-Republic glass does not break... it's glass... it can always break.... but you are less likely to break on a drop in your dorm room or family room than with cheap China or India glass.

P.S. This statement is written by a 15 year glassblower's clumsy wife ;)

  15. Lmao yes guys I know China glass is cheaper and more likely to break. The pieces I broke in the last month were American made. Don't get me wrong, they weren't some $500 piece or anything but they weren't China lol.

  16. whoever that dude is, probably is an undercover. nobody with even half of mind puts a dab in a picture on craigslist, selling or buying pieces on craigslist is a bad idea. also spending cash on a name brand is a bad idea as well. i spent 75 on something exactly like this except the inline is an actual downstem on top of the honeycomb. mine may be a little shorter, but thats because my mouth piece is curved more. my buddy who accompanied me to the headshop spent like 130 without a nail on some 3-4 in mini tube. wasnt even a good blower from any actual good company. headshops overprice too. best way to get a rig, look at the diffusion, if its not about to diffuse the living fuck out of the smoke i wont spend more than 30-40 bucks. also i see a partner of a glassblower posted, and im sure they can take care of you, but if you go on instagram you can find people who are just starting glassblowing or just got the hang of it who will do crazy deals on stuff. i just did a quick search on your craigslist to see how many bongs there were (quite a lot) and theres this http://newhaven.craigslist.org/for/4807010570.html
best to be paying for an actualy glassblowers art than some mass produced shit with a sticker on it

Bro, everyone on here saying buy china glass is just a person that doesnt appreciate Glass and the work that goes into it or just people that are clumsy and break everything. They prefer a china piece cus when they eventually break it its like "meh it was 50$". Dude buy that fucking Left Coast, that with the HE nail for 180$? are you kidding that is a great price. Just take care of it and it wont break and you wont regret it....so just fucking do it, I own 14 pieces myself and none are china.....I have only broken one piece in my life and I was doing something retarded with it so.... all my investments are functioning and being used, just take care of it. Also my friend has that piece and its a super nice pull! (this is all providing that that is in fact an HE nail and that this guy is legit)

    That nail alone is 70$

  18. I say 180 is a little high for it, if you can talk him down to 150 I say take it. I have never seen a nail really add value on a glass sale, it normally just tl sweeten the deal. But that is a high guality nail since it is an highly educated nail, idk why anyone said they would question the quality of the nail.

  19. They live in a medical state so I don't think there is much of a problem with showing pics of oil.
And why is buying or selling pi3ces on Craigslist such a bad idea?
You spent $75 on your piece because it was made in china, this guy is trying to buy some decebt quality.
This guy is also trying to buy this piece for oil so telling him to get the most diffused rig is a horrible idea. Less diffusion the better for oik.
